A pleasant surprise
I have been a Cover Girl Outlast lip customer for years. and this product was a nice surprise; it is creamier and goes on smoothly. The container is larger and there is no separate “gloss”.

Good lasting power, not as good as the cover girl outlast Iâve been using
Hmm I like this, but didnât love it. It has several hours staying power, and I love the matte velvety look, but I find it doesnât stay as long as the cover girl outlast that Iâve been using for years, link below. Also, Itâs so hard to pull the wand out of the tube so sometimes little spots of the lip color go flying. Iâm worried itâs going to get on my clothes and that it wonât come off. One minor thing, the tube is bigger than what Iâve been using. I love the slimmer design of the one linked below. It was like staining your lips with very very DARK dry CHEMICAL ink. Hard pass. Couldn’t remove it fast enough. Still looking for lipstick to replace my Lancome Strawberry Dore.

The foot isnt too soft or too absorbent. You can definitely create a good line and not have to apply too much product. Thereâs more in this container than I expected. I ordered raisin. No, it doesnât come with a top coat but if youâre looking at my review, youâve already have too many white tubes. Lol

This product is not true to colour at all. It takes forever to dry down completely and feels sticky. When it does dry down, it becomes flaky and feels crusty. I tried putting a gloss over top, and the lipstick just came off. Not transfer proof at all with or without gloss. It was a complete waste of money and I am very disappointed. Also, for the quality, this product should cost half of what I paid for it!

Everything is good EXCEPT the true colour does not match the ad. I ordered the shade LAVA because it looked like this bright red but it’s really more of a dark red. You can see the difference in my lips (natural light) vs the amazon ad. It’s not that it’s not a nice colour, but just know the colour that arrives most likely will not look like the ad
