Great ice pack. I highly recommend it for your back.
Stays cold for a very long time. Often more than an hour. I have bought 4 of them over the years. They last several years. Great value. Good for your back or shoulder. Not very soft or flexible.

Great size and works well
I ordered this after having hand surgery. Itâs the perfect size to wrap around the entire hand, no needs to ice one side then the other. The cover is soft and keeps the skin from direct contact with the ice. I havenât used the straps but it seems they would work well for icing a larger part of the body and securing the pack. The pack does bend/mold around which helps to get the ice where you need it.

These work great! Iâve had multiple sizes of these, and I feel like Iâve had packs that work really well, and others that last 2 hours. I think the longer you freeze it for initially, the better they will work. Try for at least 24hrs. My first one was amazing and would last overnight and still be cold and usable in the morning. I bought another that just did not stay frozen, and my third, the T shaped 12×18 size, definitely was not ready after the recommended 6 hours of freezing, but 24hrs later it was full frozen and super cold. Great for hip pain, lower back pain, and sciatica.

Great cold pack
These cold packs really work and will stay cold, for 6 hours or so, for me. If itâs an extremely hot day it may last less time. I tend to overheat so these work great! They also help with someback pain. The strap doesnât help me just because I donât use it anyplace that would be strap-able.The reason for taking away one star is that these do have a tendency to leak eventually. Even with that, I have had multiples of these over the years and will continue to look for them and replace when the leak is more than I want to deal with. When I notice the leak I just put the freeze part in a gallon freezer bag and put the whole thing back into the cloth bag. The 2 I have now are from Amazon and have not leaked yet in the last year.

Highly recommend!
I recently had surgery to reattach my hamstring to my pelvic bone. Yes! Itâs pretty horrible! Recovery is painful and slow, with pain in my pelvic bone and hamstring muscle. This ice pack is by far the best one that Iâve used in recovery before and after my surgery. It stays very cold for at least 90 minutes and keeps my pain manageable. I bought a second one after realizing how useful this is and now I have a frozen pack ready to go at all times.The cover is also very helpful as it protects my skin. With the cover on, I can apply this pack directly to my skin.Because this stays cold for so long, it is also great for taking to athletic events in a cooler since it will be ready to go when needed.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! THEY ACTUALLY WORK!!!!
I was very hesitant to believe that these would work for eight hours. Itâs summertime and I live in Hawaii. Ice packs seem to only last for 20 or 30 minutes around here. A couple days ago on the hottest day weâve had in a long time, I brought my 2 ice packs with me as I had injured my back. I originally bought two so that I could wrap them around my arms after Allergy Shots to help with the swelling. Anyways, I started around 9 am , I ran around doing errands with it on my back. Around 1 oâclock, I was going to an event in the park and did not want to bring it. I had brought one additional old-school hard ice pack as well with me (Read the directions to see why). It has been inside a cooler. (and was not super cold anymore) I put the 2CRYOMAX ice packs on top of each other with the hard one in the pile as well. I took my sunshade for the windshield and laid it over the ice packs that were on my seat. The windows were up, and the car was in the sun with no other shades. It was crazy hot that day. I came back around 5 PM and absolutely positively could not believe that the CRYOMAX ice packs were still cold. I honestly was not expecting that, I had already been impressed. I donât mean, cool, they were cold! Definitely read the directions and make sure they are frozen solid before you use them if possible. The liquid wonât freeze the same way the little balls will. I am beyond impressed with this product and have already shared it with the injection center at my hospital. The only two things that I would want to see changed would be the color of the liquid, if it were to leak, in my opinion, that color would be likely to stain. The other thing I would like to see them change is having the flexible plastic CYROMAX Pac, feel more durable. Donât get me wrong, my gut tells me that it is extremely durable⦠Itâs more of a psychological thing I think. I will update if there are any problems. Super impressed!!!! There are some reviews that say that it does not say cold. I think the problem is that they are not letting the balls freeze solid first. Additionally, I have noticed that once my arms are numb from cold, it often feels like any ice pack Iâm using is no longer cold, but if I take the ice pack and put it against a different part of my body, I realize it still is very cold and that I was just numb to it. Perhaps some users have had that happen. Iâm not affiliated and I have not been paid or given anything free or whatever it is companies do to sometimes get reviews. Even if these only work half as good as they did that day from now on, theyâre still incredible! Iâm just a super happy customer!

Like other reviewers would agree 8 hours is a stretch but lasted at least 4 hours before I had enough relief that I stopped truly checking. And this was with sustained contact with my body, not just on and off cycles. Around 6 hours later went to put away and was still cold-ish but as I wasn’t using it on my body at that point can’t truly confirm whether it was “ice worthy”. Still much better than previous alternatives and sleeve was comfortable enough for use. Still needed another layer on arm as was too cold for my purposes of extended relief.

It does work better than a flat gel pack as it bends to the required shape and works as a ‘cold’ pack for hours rather than minutes without frostbite issues- not entirely sure about the 8 hour claim but remains useable for much longer than powder based packs or real ice

False advertising. It says on instructions that pack should be in freezer every half hour to stay cold promised 8hrsð not good, and toxic. Do not recommend, save your money. –
False advertising, and very poor product. Same as every other 1$ coldpacks. Stays cold about 1.5hrs. and package says “to stay cold for 8hrs, product needs to be tr-freezed on freezer every 2 hours for 30min ð
