Much needed dash cam, and at a great price!
This dash cam is an excellent blend of high-quality features and ease of use, making it a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their driving security. The setup process was incredibly simple. The camera itself is compact, and the mounting system is straightforward. Just attach it to the windshield, plug it in, and youâre good to go. The included instructions are clear, and within 10 minutes, I was up and running. Connecting the camera to my phone via WiFi was also a breeze, and the Veement app makes it easy to manage the footage and settings. The video quality is decent for its price! The V300 records in 1080p and 1296p, and the footage is sharp, crisp, and clear. Even in low-light conditions, the camera performs pretty well. This is especially important to me, as I wanted a dash cam that could record in detail during both daytime and nighttime driving. The wide-angle lens also captures plenty of the surrounding area, which is great for providing a full view of whatâs happening around my car, and it captures audio with the built in microphone. One of the standout features of the Veement V300 is its WiFi connectivity. With the built-in WiFi, I can easily download footage to my phone via the Veement app. The app interface is user-friendly and allows you to quickly view, share, or delete footage directly from your smartphone. This is incredibly convenient, especially when I need to pull a specific video for insurance purposes or to show a friend something interesting that happened during my drive.The build quality is solid. Small and powerful
I purchased 3 of these and installed them in 3 vehicles. They do not have an external screen and you have to view the video on the app that you have to download. The video quality is very good and sharp so I think it will be very helpful if I ever need to watch an event. The build factor is sleek and takes up very little room on the windshield. My previous dashcams have been clunky looking, but these are really slim lined and barely noticable if placed in the right position. My only complaint is viewing in the app is a little cumbersome. You have to follow the prompts each time you want to view video to connect your camera via your Wi-Fi connection. If you are out on the road with no Wi-Fi connection, the app will prompt you to switch to cell data so you can view video. It may be the data speed on my cell plan, but it takes a minute for the recorded video to load. (It does not come with a memory card so you will need to purchase a mini-sd card). The camera says it will overwrite earlier video as your memory card runs out of space, which I believe is standard with dash cams. The video quality is really good and even the night driving video at least is as good as your headlights are. Past cameras I had were horrible at night, but this one seems to cover what is illuminated. The app is really cool as you can name your cameras and I can view any of my 3 cameras from the app once connected. It does take time to pull up the video and if you are in a rush to view an event, you will have to wait for it to load, and if you have a spotty signal, you may have to wait until you are somewhere with wifi or your signal is stronger. That being said, hopefully I will never need to use it, but at least it is there if I need it!

Good for the price
So let’s remember the price range here. The video quality is good IMO. It’s also way better at night vision than my one from 7y ago, while being smaller.My only real complaint is the stupid app. It really needs to have a USB interface with the phone as an option, because trying to connect to this while Wireless Android Auto is fighting for a connection is quite annoying. Then the app is white-only mode – super bright – and your top and bottom bars (Status/Nav) are gone because you still have white text on what is now a white background.The app keeps trying to get you to sign in or create an account on their platform, which I have no intention of doing, and I have to skip that screen everyt ime to interface witht he device.Honestly the most painful part of the app is just to do the intial setup. Once you’re done with that, your best bet is to just use a MicroSD reader to check footage. Might get a MicroSD to USB-C and keep it in the car.Anyway – like I said, camera is great, no love ofr the app – but honestly I’ve had worse app experiences with even name-brand things so c’est la vie.
