Solid Everyday Laptop That Gets The Job Done. Reliable, and Perfect for Work or School.
Iâve been using this Dell Inspiron 3530 for a few weeks, and itâs honestly been great for daily use. It starts up quickly, runs smoothly, and the 15.6â Full HD screen is crisp and easy on the eyes. The i3 processor with 8GB of RAM handles browsing, streaming, and documents effortlessly and the 512GB SSD makes everything feel snappy. Itâs lightweight but still feels sturdy, and the carbon black design gives it a professional look. My only minor gripe is that the speakers could be a bit louder, and the battery life is decent but not exceptional. Still, for the price, itâs a reliable, fast laptop that does everything I need it to without lag or frustration. Great value overall.

FAST! – clear – user-friendly – perfect for an old-timer with minimal computer needs.
Had to upgrade to Windows 11 and this laptop has all the features (plus many more) as my 10-year-old Dell Inspiron 3520, so it should work out fine. My only problem has been getting Microsoft to recognize my new email address and sync with my cellphone, but that’s a separate issue. The laptop is a ‘beaut’…so much faster and clearer than Windows 10, and a lot more user friendly. I was surprised to find that it doesn’t have a removable battery (that’s how old-school I am.) If this holds up as well as the 3520 I’ll be very happy.

Amazing Laptop
This is my second Dell. I bought the other four years ago, and it survived a lot of abuse. I even spilled water on the keyboard of the last one, and it never stopped. I have never had problems with this Dell or the last. The only reason I had to buy a replacement is that the last one got knocked off of the table and the place where you plug it in was damaged. Yet, we kept rigging it up and it worked for months. I finally decided to get a new one when it became to difficult to keep charged due to the damage. The sound quality is amazing and so are the visuals. It is lightweight, so it is easy to carry around in a laptop bag. Finally, it is easy to setup and use. I am a loyal Dell customer now. The price is very reasonable, so get yours now. You won’t regret it!

Great laptop, short battery life
I really like this laptop. It’s nice and light weight and works great. My only complaint is that the battery life is short. Just surfing the web and checking my email it seems to only last around 4 hours before I have to charge it again. Rather disappointed in that and that you can’t take the battery out to replace it if you need to.

Good basic laptop for home use, if you get a good one
No frills laptop no AI chip no COPilot key on keyboard just a solid laptop with a nice keyboard and acceptable screen quality. Even the speakers sound OK for a lower end Dell. I don’t even dislike the touchpad as it tracks well and I don’t get too many unwanted tap clicks like some touchpads I have used. Decent port selection although USB C is data only but not a big deal for me. HDMI port only 1080p 1.4 ver. So no 2K or above support. Camera just OK under good lighting. Doesn’t run hot under normal use, fan only cycles occasionally. Battery life not stellar but I have seen around 4 or so hours. If you are just looking for a good basic home laptop with decent performance this is a good one. Update: After couple days apps started crashing or freezing and got errors that laptop shutdown unexpectantly. So I returned it. Guess I got a defective one.
