Fully functional, in great condition, with great service
I needed newer computers for home duties, and decided to order this Latitude 5420 from RUKN-TECH. This laptop should handle a few, concurrent, logged-in users without struggle.The laptop arrived within 1 week. It was well protected in its package and is in like-new condition: no visible signs of wear to speak of. All ports work (although I haven’t tested the ethernet port yet.) Good screen quality, touchscreen works great, good speaker quality, good keyboard, touchpad, camera… Everything works, and no rattle!It upgraded to Windows 11 Pro with ease.The lone issue was the charger/power adapter, which didn’t work at all. To the seller’s credit, the charger is a genuine Dell unit which looked brand new — still in its scratch-protective plastic wrapper. (It was probably faulty from the factory, and just never tested.) We had another charger on hand, so I was able to try/test the laptop anyway. I contacted RUKN-TECH about it; they responded within hours (on a Saturday!) and refunded the charger. Great service!I’m smiling as I write this review from the laptop itself. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Did not come with win 11 installed. Camera not working.
Advertised as windows 11, came with 10 and I had to run the update for 11. Camera didnât work. Tech support couldnât fix it remotely, so I returned it.

Great while it lasted (almost 9 months)
Great while it lasted…which was less than a year.I bought this on September 18, 2024. Today is June 16, 2025 and the motherboard is dead. I had a few minor issues leading up to this failure in the last couple weeks and now I’m stuck out of state, trying to work from the road with no laptop. This is fantastic.I will never buy another refurbished product again, nor will I buy anything Dell again.

came with a lot of scuffs on the bottom, but other than that, its been a great laptop. battery seems pretty solid on it, and it is also touch screen that works well.

Actualmente conseguir una laptop asi saldria arriba de 10mil MXN, por lo que considero que esta bien para el precio.Bateria: es buena, aun que depende mas de la funcion que ocupes y el tiempo que la necesites encendida, para lo basico esta bien, solo no la uses mientras carga en algo que pueda pesarle.Pantalla: yo la veo bien, sin rayones y en cuanto a calidad creo que es suficiente, siempre se puede configurar o mejorar pero realmente no suelo ser exigente con ello.Funcion: Por el momento esta bien, es rapida lo que es una gran ventaja, reamente no tarda casi nada al encender o al empezar a usarla despues de encender, no deja esperando nisiquiera segundos. Funcional en juegos no tan pesados. Comoda para trasportar fuera o dentro de tu casa, no hace ruido al calentarse, a menos que se caliente mucho pero sigue siendo leve, de igual forma comprare su enfriador pero para lo basico no se siente nada. Pronto comenzare mis estudios por lo que mas adelante editare mi opinion despues de un tiempo.Camara y microfono: no me e permitido usar la camara o microfono con gran detalle pero lo que vi fue que realmente no estaba mal, tampoco digo que sea muy bueno, tampoco suelo ser muy exigente en este aspecto, pero se distingue tu imagen y tu voz, eso para mi ya es aceptable, pero hay que recalcar que son funciones que no necesitare por lo que para mi esta bien si es visible, asi que si eres alguien que lo necesita siempre puedes investigar mas sobre esto (lo mismo digo respecto a la pantalla.)Detalles: Me gusta la luz del teclado, tambien es comodo y el talk pad me es funcional, al recibirlo, tarde en darme cuenta de una ligera falla en el teclado, no fue un gran problema pues recibi la ayuda necesaria del vendedor y ahora esta al 100%, no tuve un gran problema en la configuracion inicial.Servicio: Yo realice el pedido y me llego el mismo dia que lo compre con la ayuda prime de amazon, mi pedido decia que llegaria antes de 8pm y llego horas antes por lo que diria que el envio es bueno y cumplido en cuanto a la aproximacion de entrega, la persona encargada de entregarme el paquete cumplio con las medidas de seguridad como el nombre y codigo para entregarmelo y la caja del paquete llego en buen estado, sin golpes ni detalles con la cinta.Vendedor: Contacte con el vendedor por el detalle del teclado, fue amable y rapido, lo contacte en horas nocturnas, yo eperaba que me respondieran al dia siguiente pero fue en esas mismas horas, me entrego instrucciones y fue abierto en cuanto a su ayuda. Anteriormente ya lo habia contactado para preguntar por otro portatil (no tuve ningun problema.) Y me contesto igual de rapido y eficiente, para mi su servicio fue bueno/excelente, no podria hablar sobre su servicio en cuanto a devoluciones o cambios y eso ya es algo bueno, no dudo que si tuviera mas problemas o necesitara una devolucion me atenderia de igual forma.

Screen installed badly, one corner separated. Silver Sharpie on the scuffs. One broken keyboard key. For $600! This is not “renewed”, this is a slightly cleaned up used laptop. I used to get great products from Amazon renewed, but they don’t seem to care anymore.
