Works amazingly
The DeWalt DCF900B is an absolute beast.it makes removing stubborn bolts and lug nuts feel effortless. Itâs built tough, has a solid grip, and the variable speed trigger gives great control. The built-in LED light is super handy in low-light spots, and the battery protection feature is a nice bonus. It is a bit heavy, so not ideal for long overhead jobs, and itâs onFor the price it’s amazing

Good impact
This impact gun has plenty of torque. Works well for automotive and around house. It is slightly heavy but to be expected for this gun. I use 8mh battery with this as smaller battery will run out of power quickly. Good impact gun for price.

Really powerful
Bad A__ impact wrench. Using it on farm so it sees some heavy use. Does a great job. It is a bit heavy but if it was lighter it probably would not be as strong.

!Absolute unit!
Great product she’s a absolute unit hefty very tough she is heavy but the weight is needed for how much torque she puts out highly recommend just hold her tight if not she will be unforgiven to your wrist. Love it

delivery was a bit slow but price and quality are excellent
power house–beware it can break large bolts with its torque. would not buy anything else. 38 drive is also great for lower power needs.

This thing packs a PUNCH and HEFT.
***Warning: Review by a DIYer home mechanic, not a “day to day” professional mechanic.************************************************************************************************************************The Good:Very powerful. Forward. Reverse. Don’t matter. With a DEWALT 8AH battery pack on power setting #2, this thing unscrews 22mm wheel nuts and 21mm caliper bracket bolts very easily, even the ones with orange Loctite.Power setting #3 it’s overkill most of the times to tighten anything and unscrews anything violently.Don’t get distracted or this thing it’s going to smack you and your wrist HARD. ðThe built-in LED lamp emits enough light to see everything in front of the wrench in the dark. The variable speed trigger it’s a must have on ANY impact wrench and here it works flawlessly. The pistol grip feels good on a bare, oily, dirty hand but much better and safer (stronger grip) with leather or rubber gloves on, as you should be equipped to begin with before start using this tool.**********************************************************************************************************************The Bad:It’s heavy. DEWALT claims 7lbs w/o battery. If you’re planning on using it for extended periods of time and if you slap a big 8AH battery pack like a did, it’s just going to get worse. Not a problem for me as I went in knowing that.Under prolonged heavy use you WILL physically destroy your batteries. The high power and the resulting vibrations are a double edged sword.I try to minimize the problem by grabbing the battery with one of my hands when using the wrench.DEWALT does not make the battery bumper, a.k.a BATTERYGUARD(TM) standard equipment, however, they’ll be happy to sell it to you as an extra. That tells you that they know there’s a problem but feel it’s not critical enough yet to hurt their sales and tarnish their name. Time will tell.Don’t trust the PRECISION WRENCH(TM) mode, use your own hand feel judgement and experience and you’ll be better off. I tried it, then went over it with a manual wrench to assert my suspicions and felt it was way off when it came to applying the correct amounts of torque on different fastener types and sizes. The “run off prevention on reverse” feature did work as advertised but I see it more as gimmick than a true helping feature. JMHO.*******************************************************************************************************************Final Thoughts:If you need a powerful and reliable cordless impact wrench, be it at home and even at the shop, you won’t be disappointed with this one.ð

Should have bought one years ago
My new favorite tool for working on vehicles. Helps free up stuck bolts without shearing them off.

Dont leave a battery installed. Its a beast
A beast that hits hard but.. it has a parasitic drain when not in use. It drained a 3ah battery in 3 weeks, just sitting on the shelf. Don’t leave a battery on it

I have a 3 foot breaker bar that I used to change the wheels on my Bentley GTC. That thing is torqued at about 110 ft lbs. Still takes a bit of effort to do it by hand, and you need to have the car sitting on the ground, not in the air with the wheel loose when you’re trying to take it off manually. If you don’t, the wheel will just turn. I’m not weak by any means, but using the breaker bar as opposed to this thing is a night and day difference.I bought this DeWalt, and I’m able to pull the wheels off in seconds, with the wheel in the air, and it doesn’t budge. This thing has so much torque, it feels like you could pull a house off its foundation with it. They aren’t cheap, but they are incredibly effective.I set it for 100 ft lbs to put the wheel back on, and then I just go over it with a torque wrench to bring it up to 110. It’s a matter of seconds. The only thing you need to ensure is that you’ve got the lug nuts screwed in a few threads before you start on this, otherwise you’ll destroy it if you cross-thread it. And you could probably cross thread it all the way down to 500 ft lbs of torque…I love this tool! Make sure you get at least a five amp battery pack for it.
