Excellent, longer lasting, lighter and lower DeWalt batteries. I am a home owner, so have no idea how these would hold up for a tradesman, but they work really well for my use and charge quickly.

This is a very good battery for a home owner. I use it in my trade because it is so lite on my tools and I have 3 and it charges fast because it is only a 2 Amp.It also fits well in my driver holster the bigger battery want to make my tool fall out of the hoster.

Works well, charges way quicker than the 4ah regular Dewalt ones got with dcf899 impact and few other tools a while back. Also seems to last longer especially the bigger battery seems to like the new dcf961 impact and leaf blowers or big drills a lot compared to old 4ah one. Have no issues on fitment and seems be doing a lot better since I’ve gotten these

Excellent Batteries for DIYers with Dewalt tools
Great Power Delivery for home tools. These batteries are extremely light weight, output consistent power to all my dewalt tools, and constantly deliver on DIY projects around my home. For heavier use, I would probably go with the 3.5 powerstack or the 5Ah. But for light duty or working in weird spaces at awkward angles, the weight savings and small size is a dream.

Ok, but thought the run time would be a bit longer
As a delwalt nut with over a dozen cordless power tools, My array of batteries are pretty vast. The traditional dewalt 20v batteries of this size are obviously limited in the scope of work they can do and these are no different. I was expecting a bit more run time compared to the basic 2ah ones I have however. They certainly do work longer but not to a great deal longer. I’d still buy them again but don’t be lead to believe they are night and day better.

Loved these at the sale price. Lasted longer than I had expected for the smaller battery and the lighter weight made it a great value. Big Dewalt fan and this continues my appreciation.

Great for females who want to do a little repair job themselves.
Awesome little battery, works very well, and is not as heavy as the larger ones. Excellent for female use. Keeps a charge while being smaller and easier to use.

They are only 1.7AH.
These are only 1.7AH batteries. They will not run anything for very long and are definitely not worth the price.

Lightweight, compact and have as much power on my ratchet and driver as my old 4ah bigger batteries it seems. Got them on a deal much cheaper than in store. Would recommend if you want lighter weight and still have power.

first – have you any idea just how difficult it was to get those batteries out from that horrible packaging???anyway when finally I did get them out – and installed one in my lamp – the unit worked just fine – nice little light – everything the seller said about it turned out just right. so, love the light. But, how on earth do I charge these batteries?? there is no charging unit – do I have to buy it separate – am going to check it out – in the meantime, this lamp is just the thing for my purpose. Love it.
