Amazingly it appears to be new (no battery of course but has the rest of the parts & blade)
This saw came like new. I was taken aback, expecting a bare tool that was somewhat trashed. Nope, it came in a taped up original box that was still like new and clean. The saw was brand new with a new blade tucked in the original style packaging and the blade removal tool (allen wrench) attached to the saw. It even had a manual! I never leave 5 star reviews but this one earned it. I’m quite surprised really, it’s literally new in appearance in every way, no signs of use at all and no wear anyplace on the saw or guards than I can see. Seems to work just fine and stops as soon as you let off the trigger, nice safety feature. I’ve not actually cut with it yet as I ordered this for a project and couldn’t wait to finish before the saw arrived but it seems pretty much perfect. Hopefully others are experiencing the same luck I had.

Very light/compact, but it seems left-handed
This has been a real boost doing work on my new shed — nice to not have to trail around a cord wherever I go. It is lightweight so no fatigue if you need to make repeated cuts overhead or hold it for extended periods of time. The controls for angle/depth are also very easy to use. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is that the blade is shifted to the left side making it almost feel like it is ‘left-handed’, it takes some getting used to and sometimes makes it hard to hit the right angle when making a cut.

Love to use basically all dewalt tools in my carpentry career as well as every other task I constantly assign myself. I had just worn out my previous dewalt 6 1/2â 20v saw and, while browsing for a replacement, I was suggested this renewed saw. I received it very quickly and it is flawless. I got the thing at about 15% off and couldnât believe how quiet and powerful it was. Iâm now addicted to checking for deals on renewed tools. I see negative reviews but for me, product was in the proper packaging and the saw is actually better in performance than my previous one. Iâd definitely recommend this to anyone

Quality tool and very convenient
Saved about 28% buying the reconditioned version and it runs and looks like new. Came in original dewalt packaging although was retaped as expected. The magnesium show isn’t as flat as expected but is not damaged so I suspect that’s the way they are. It’s cast only and not a machined finish. Overall I didn’t notice any scratches or marks on the saw. This will be very convenient to cut a couple 2x boards and plywood now and then. Bought a 40t blade to go with it for cleaner cuts. Still cut through a 2×4 efficiently. Good balanced saw with the 5ah battery pack.

Purchased a refurbished unit to keep on hand for small projects. I have multiple 20 volt Dewalt tolls ,so there’s always a batter ready to go. So far have used it multiple times for small projects. Cuts true and is a nice little saw to have available. Good home owner project saw.
