Nice, compact & powerful drill
I replaced a 10+ year old Dewalt drill with this one as the batteries were shot. I almost just replaced the batteries (with off-brand replacements since you can’t get “real” ones anymore), but decided to get this drill instead.I love this one. It’s about 2/3 the size of the old one, has a fabric case instead of the big rigid, plastic one I had, and is so much lighter and comfortable to use. And because the bag is flexible, I can store my drill bits and screw tips (etc.) in there so everything is all in one place, making it easy to “grab & go” when I need to fix something. It seems just as powerful, maybe even more.I’ve had it for a few months and only charged it once so the battery life seems excellent. I just use it to fix stuff around the house, so am not using it for a full-time job. But for my purposes, I can totally recommend this drill.

Great little drill, lightweight and solidly built
Great little drill, lightweight and solidly built. Comes with two batteries, charger and a carrying pouch. However, if you’re planning to expand your DeWalt tool collection, be aware that the 12V battery it uses isn’t widely compatible with other tools. After doing some thorough research, I found that it’s tough to even find a basic LED light that works with this battery, whereas the 20V system has a wide range of compatible accessories and devices.

So good. Everyone at the hardware store was impressed with this purchase ðHad to drill into a stucco wall and it stalled a few times but it eventually did the job nicely. Itâs a great drill, love the bag, and very happy I got this.

Excellent hand drill
Very reliable hand drill, I use it for all jobs. Lightweight and tough, my only small issue is it sometimes too strong for the job Iâm doing, which reflects me as the user vs the tool itself.

I use it every day, all day at work
As an aircraft mechanic, this is a tool I use constantly. Only problem was that I needed it around the house too. Liked it so much that I bought another one. You canât go wrong, best multi-purpose screwgun/drill Iâve ever owned & Iâve been using them for over 20 years. Great battery life, durable, good torque for the size & weight. I use the clutch as a screw-knocker on stuck fasteners & it saves me from taking the time to go get the rivet gun more often than not.

Small and very light, but powerful. Cordless drill technology has come a long way since I bought my last drill (years and years ago). Handles nicely, but I knocked off one star because the clutch adjustment requires a lot of effort to turn.

These are fantastic, 12 volt little drills. They are light weight, powerful, and batteries last for 2 hrs on a charge. And because they are made by DeWalt, the quality and design are exceptional.
