The Diablo TrexBlade Saw Blade for Composites and Plastic is the only blade recommended by Trex Company for cutting their composite decking materials. These new blades deliver maximum performance and highest quality of finish; making it a must-have tool for both professionals and DIYers planning composite decking projects. Diablo’s new saw blade series has a modified triple chip tooth grind design, Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating, and specific TiCo Hi-Density carbide to deliver more efficient and cleaner cuts with no swirl marks, less “gumming” of blade teeth and longer cutting life.
TiCo Hi-Density Carbide – Maximize cutting life in composite Decking materials and plastics. Highly resistant to wear and tear, ensuring a longer blade life and consistent performance.
Modified Triple Chip Grind (MTCG) – This enables the material to remain cool while cutting for melt-free cuts. This technology ensures precise and Accurate cuts, even in demanding materials.
Perma-SHIELD Non – Stick Coating – Reduces drag and shields the blade against heat, gumming and corrosion. This enhances the blade’s performance and extends its lifespan.
Thin Kerf Design – This requires less cutting power, making them ideal for Underpowered saws at the jobsite. Also allows for more precise cuts, especially in delicate materials, as it reduces the risk of chipping.
Maximum Performance – Ideal for high quality finish cuts in composite Material and cellular PVC, delivering exceptional results.

Very nice blade
I purchased this blade specifically for installing a new Trex deck at my house. I am a fan of Diablo blades and composite decking is expensive enough that I decided to spring for a dedicated blade for it. I used this blade in a Dewalt DWS779 saw also purchased from Amazon. That combination worked incredibly well for the composite decking material. It bogged down slightly at times, but it never negatively affected the finish or quality of a cut. When I got close to the end of the project, I became a bit bolder and began to try using this blade on some wood cuts (pressure treated 2x12s and pressure treated 4x4s). I was happy with the results. I then tried using other blades and even a few cordless saws on the composite material. Truly, the composite material cut very nicely using every blade I tried.Overall, this is a great blade. I am not sure I would buy it just for use on a single job using composite material. That is due to the fact that the material cut well without it. That being said, Diablo makes a great blade and I am very happy to have this blade in my collection. Like my other Diablo blades, I expect to use the happily for many years. If you want the recommended blade for cutting Trex materials, you cannot go wrong with this blade.

excellent blade
does what it claims to do…cuts Trex decking very well and easy. Built a 500 sq ft deck and blade remained sharp and cut cleanly throughout project. Definitely worth the $60 to make sure the cuts are nice and clean.

Like butter
Cuts like butter. Am nearing the end of my ~400 sf deck project and it still cuts nice & clean.

Very happy with PVC performance.
I used it on Zuri PVC 5.5″ decking. Very clean and sharp cuts. Cuts were reasonably cool even when I was taking my time. I had to make a few “fit” cuts with a jig saw, hand saw, and circular saw. What a noticeable difference. The non Diablo blades all melted the material to varying degrees even with the recommended blade sizes. Especially the jig saw. So happy I had this in the cutoff saw to do 98% of the cuts.

Good blade
Used for rebuilding my deck. Used it for cutting pvc trim, timber tech decking and railings. Worked great.

A must for composite material
This blade is perfect for cutting composite material. Perfect clean cuts every time. I had to replace some material that had been mitered by eyeball (not a perfect 22.5 degree cut). I could easily trim my work to match the less than perfect angles and every cut was perfect. Some cuts only required taking off a sixteenth of an inch but perfect first time and every time. Buy this blade.

Fantastic blades
This blade cut all my Trex decking with zero issues. I would buy again if it ever wears out.
