Belly strap a great feature!
Seems to be well made. The belly strap is a great feature. It keeps my dog (corgi) from wiggling her short legs out of the leg holes. I have another grooming hammock without the belly strap. My dog doesnât like her nails trimmed so she did a lot of wiggling and was able to pull her legs out of the leg holes. We will need to get accustomed to using this item. Once we are both used to it, I think it will make nail clipping much easier.

Game changer!!!
Love this…ABSOLUTELY a game changer and money saver from the vet. Our dogs HATE, getting nails trimmed and sanded or having medication put on. If not for this product I could not do this on my own at home. It is soft, the material is durable and so far has held up for multiple animals including goats. They don’t fight, bite or fuss it is wonderful.

We use this hammock or for trimming dogs nails. Works very well for this for purposes. The sling is made of heavy duty quality material.. Makes any job where a dog needs to be controlled, much easier and safer.. I must have for doing dog nail trimming or cutting.

Why did we wait to use this? So effective!
Our 65 pound dog has resisted all efforts for us to trim her nails, clipper or dremel, prescribed drugs or no drugs. It was a cinch to get her into the sling, and then we used a stool to get her clipped up via the straps to our pull up bar. The harness and hardware feel substantial and trustworthy. She did not bark and barely flinched. The height made it easier to access each paw and I wore a headlamp to make dremel actions as visible as possible so as to not catch the quick. We used a suction cup base treat cup, also purchased here, filled with peanut butter and treats, so that she would get a unique and engrossing treat while we dremelled away. I donât know if sheâll react strongly the next time we pull the sling out, but it cannot be worse than her running away on every prior attempt. I thought this wouldnât work, and had the Amazon package sitting there for over a month before finally feeling relaxed and hopeful enough to try itâbut I wish I had used it the day it arrived!

I have a love hate relationship with this dog hanger.
I have a love hate relationship with this dog hanger. First hanging the dog makes it so much easier to dremel their nails, this part is great! But it is hard to put on a wiggle pup, you need to have something strong to hang it on, you need to be able to lift your dog in the bag up tp what you are hanging on. I finaly found a use for my husband home gym that has been collecting dust for years. I set the weight to 10lbs more than the dog, pull the arm pully bar and attach hanger loops on the bar, and then I slowy release the weight which raises the dog. The hanger material quality is good and it is true to size. The tools that come with it are a waste of money, they should sell it without the tools, and make some type of pully device for it to hang on.

Total game changer for our 88lb pup. She does not like going to the vet to have a toenail trim. We bought the hammock and a manual hoist. She was spinning around like crazy but when I held her head she totally calmed down and we were able to trim her nails. She seemed so happy once we were done. You definitely need 2 people if your dog is big. I highly recommend this hammock but you also need the hoist. Just look at the what other people buy section with this item for the manual hoist. We just bought a smaller hammock for our smaller pup but haven’t tried her in it yet. She is stubborn so it will be interesting to see if it works for her to. Hope so!

I’ve been cutting my dogs hair for 5 years and I only just ordered this. What a game changer. We were able to put our 10lb puppy in it and cut his legs and trim his nails. Then we put our 25lb dog in and were able to cut his legs and trim his nails. It was incredible. In 5 years I have never been able to get him to sit still long enough to do a good job on his legs, feet and nails.We werent sure how we were going to hang it, but we remembered we had a work horse in the garage. It worked perfectly!This is worth every penny!!!

Worked well for my dog although itâs a bit big for him (heâs tiny). But now I can cut nails and trim hair on his feet without him moving all the time. He seems comfortable in it.
