Customers say
Customers find the pet carrier easy to travel with and appreciate its build quality, noting it’s tough enough to handle pets’ antics and should last for years. The crate is roomy enough for medium-sized pets, folds up nicely, and is easy to assemble, with one customer mentioning it attaches easily to the back seat head rest. While customers say their dogs love the crate, opinions about comfort are mixed, and the zipper closure receives mixed feedback, with some reporting issues with unstitched zippers and pets ripping through them.

Easy open/close, lightweight, great for training classes
I just received the large (36″ long) Donoro pop-up dog crate. I’ve opened it and figured out how to close it. We looked up YouTube videos to figure out how to close it; there are none for this exact product, but we found some for similar products. I find that placing it on it’s back end and twisting the zipped front end 180 degrees, then quickly putting the elastic strap around it to keep it from popping open works well. The carry handles are easy to find and use.I’ll be using it at weekly agility training classes, so it needs to be lightweight, quick and easy to open and close, and provide a short-term containment area for my dog while another dog is running or I’m walking the course. It fits easily in my car without requiring seat adjustments to make it fit.It seems to be well-made and sturdy enough for my intended use. My dog (77 lb. GSD) will not be left unattended, so I don’t expect he’ll destroy it.So far, it seems to be exactly what I wanted. I’m very happy with this product and hope our first use will be a good experience.

Good light weight travel crate.
Itâs much more convenient than a travel crate with an aluminum frame. Its collapses into a shape the size of its front. (Height x width) and 3 inches wide. This one is large size for a 65 lb pointer. It folds (twists) into its collapsed size and has a strap which holds a thin bottom pad ( you could add a thicker pad or a pad familiar to your dog) It also has Velcro type strips on the bottom which will hold it in place on carpet. 25 inches by 23 inches by 4 inches it will easily fit in the trunk of most cars. The bottom is water proof. It has carrying handles. It is best for crate trained dogs . Almost any dog could chew there way out if they really wanted to.

Our dog loves it
Easy to assemble. Light weight but sturdy. Folds easily. Exactly what we needed – our dog took a day or so to get used to it but now loves sitting in it for his afternoon naps. We bought it for travel, but wanted to train him to learn that itâs his safe space so have left it up on our patio.

Very nice, large soft-sided crate for the backseat â but not perfect
I purchased this for my tall-and-lanky 22-lb dog, and he has more than enough room in it. I like that itâs lightweight, slightly bendable (otherwise I would have had a hard time getting it into my back-seat), and has lots of ventilation so he doesnât overheat with the sun coming in the window. I feel like heâs safe in it. I donât like that it has to go behind the driverâs seat for the seatbelt loops to work. Iâd rather have him behind the passenger seat where I can see him. A few things to be aware of: 1. The pad it comes with slides all over the bottom and winds up in a ball at the back of the kennel. Itâs useless. I threw it away and replaced it with a rubber-backed bathroom rug, which works like a charm. 2. If you just put the passenger-side seatbelt through both loops, it is VERY unstable on the seat. I put the passenger-side belt through the left loop and the middle-seat belt through the right loop. Much better and safer. 3. It doesnât seem super-tough, so if your dog is a chewer at all, be aware that it probably wonât stand up to teeth (or claws, for that matter). Overall, for the price, Iâm pleased.

The travel crate picked by our dog
After trying out 3 different soft sided travel crates, this is the one our dog approved of. We have a 27 pound cocker. The side door was plenty wide, making it an inviting space. (Another brand had such a small opening that she wouldnât even consider entering.) It can be easily secured with a seat belt and an attached strap that loops on to the headrest to keep the crate in place in case of a quick stop. It folds up into a flat square for easy storage plus is lightweight. It appears to be well made. You can roll up both the top and side zipper doors and secure them with Velcro to keep the flaps out of your way. Weâve actually kept the crate up on our living room floor so that our pup gets used to it and getting in and out of it on her own. I think that was key to getting her in it for her first car ride. If I could make one change, it would be to put a zipper door on both short sides or seatbelt connectors on both long sides. We typically put her on the back seat behind the passenger and would load her from the passenger side. This is made where the side zipper door faces the door behind the driver. By no means a deal breaker, but just saying what is our preference. That was an easy fix, we just load her from the door behind the driver. She is not destructive so should last us for years. We are very pleased with this travel crate.

Great Crate But Not As Long As It Says
Really love using this pop-up crate with our 15-lb. Mini Aussie and it’s held up great for over a year. But beware: while it claims to be 28″ in length, it’s not! It’s only 26″ long.

Great travel crate!
Overall very satisfied with this purchase. It is a much better (and safer) way to contain my (somewhat restless) dog during car rides. Admittedly, since itâs soft, the crate is not intended for indoor use (i.e. prolonged periods not under supervision). There were moments she clawed at the mesh lining so I could easily see it tearing if no one were watching. That said, for a car ride â itâs perfect! I have a hatchback and the medium size fits in the backseat just fine. Also lightweight and easily collapsible for when itâs not in use. I appreciate the extra straps and loops to secure with the seat belt. The top zipper is also a useful access point (e.g. to drop treats). One design flaw of note is there is only one entry point so it has to be placed facing the passenger side (given how it connects with the strap). Not a huge deal but since itâs primary purpose is for car use, would have been neat to have access on either side. Also nice that it comes with a little soft liner but would suggest an extra pad underneath for additional support.

Sturdy but not functional…
I was looking for a travel carrier for our cat as we are traveling cross country. I read satisfied customer reviews. The items is well made and would be wonderful as a cat playpen however as you can see from the pics, there is only a carrying handle on one side. With a cat moving inside the “carrier” it would be difficult to carry without having the cat on his side. Very awkward. I have to return as this will not work. Too bad because the size is perfect.

Dogs love this Kennel and works perfectly for 2 mini dashounds. The only thing is the Velcore doesn’t hold the door up very well.
