Works BETTER than its description
This is great and works beautifully. I’m having my shower remodeled and as they were tearing down the drywall and doing demolish, this barrier kept almost all the dust in and out of my bedroom. At one point, I looked beyond the dust barrier and I could see the guy tearing down the drywall surrounded in dust and none seeped through the barrier. Definitely a most have. And it’s long enough to cover the area (96 inches tall) from ceiling to floor with at least a foot left over. I especially loved that the magnets were strong and when the barrier was opened, it automatically re-sealed itself. The techs never had one of these and they now are considering getting some of their own for future jobs.

Worked as Intended
Used these during a recent remodel and they did cut down on dust spreading through the house. They make a magnetic variety that I like better. Workers would routinely not zip the zipper and leave it open. The magnetic type closure automatically closes.

Exceeded my expectations except too heavy for the tape
I bought this to cut off a room that is musty & dirty ( the house belongs to a relative that passed away and this room was used as a mess of a storage room). It was cleaned out but I needed to separate it from the rest of the house. The drape was large enough to tape on the inside walls with the tape included. It is heavier than I expected due to all the magnets on it to keep it closed. After a day or 2, the curtain fell because I didn’t use enough tape. I retaped it and used a lot more tape (to include duct tape) to keep it hanging. It is heavy weight and a lot of magnets so it automatically closes after you open it. I am very impressed with this product.Updated: while I still really like this product, I have had to reapply the tape numerous times. It’s too heavy for the tape to hold it. I ended up tacking it to the wall with little nails.

Great concept but poor quality
I bought this for some home reno work and loved it at the start. The tape doesnt stick well and the thumbtacks that come with it wont stick in drywall or stay secured in wood. It lasted maybe 2-3 weeks before it started to get holes in the plastic itself.I love the idea of it and it helped create a barrier but its not long lasting

Ok I was skeptical. But these are amazing! Iâm totally sold! I needed two of these to block off doorways for cordoning off part of my house for a health reason, not construction. I did not think I needed to go in and out much, and probably could have just used plain plastic and sealed off the area. As it turned out I was really glad to have the door openings, and they work perfectly. Very convenient. The plastic is strong, close to the consistency of a shower curtain liner, rather than like the plastic you usually put up for such purposes. You see through it perfectly. In fact, the plastic is so sheer I put extra tape xâs so that nobody would walk into them. I had two doors that needed to be blocked off âone was extra short and one was extra tall so I actually cut off a foot from one and taped it onto the other. The magnet closers are absolutely amazing. Easy to open up and they fall right back together straight as could be – itâs like magic. What is not magic is getting the plastic to stay up. I was prepared with my own painters tape because of lots of reviews here, but the only way I could get it to stay was multiple pieces perpendicular to the edge. And I needed thumbtacks or nails across the top, unfortunately. Itâs just too heavy for plain tape. After I used nails on one and thumbtacks on the other I found two little bags of tacks that had been in each package that somehow I missed. So they expect that the tape they provide isnât going to really work on its own. With the magnets itâs just too heavy.If you need to block off a doorway for construction or for some other reason donât hesitate on these. They would fit a 3 foot doorway or any conventional doorway but not anything wider than that. They are great!
