Powerful, durable, stylish, and ergonomic
I had purchased one about 3 years ago and like it so much I bought another one for my mother.The vaccumm is shipped and packaged very well and is very easy to assemble. The vaccum has a high quality feel and you can tell by the materials used, even though its not too heavy and easy to manuver.The best part of the vaccum is the suction it has, works really well on tile and carpet (must have if you have pets)…and I notice on the tile the suction works so well it pickups up the fine little dust that brooms and lower quality model miss.One suggestion I do have is it would be nice if Dyson were to make it to were you didin’t have to keep on pressing the on button to vaccuum…sometimes it would be nice to push the button down once and it stay on until I turn it off.Another thing that would be nice is a light, these things are not cheap, and a light should come standard in my opinion, but you may get the options on the more expensive versions.Overall I recommend this product to family and friends, even entrust it for my mother, and I do have one that is holding up for a few years now, so it is a durable product.

Life changing. Fur real.
Very few products are truly life changing but this is one of them. Vacuuming used to be a weekly chore I dreaded, lugging the heavy machine around with a short cord that had to be constantly re plugged into a new outlet and emitted a slightly burning dirt odor. For Prime Day I splurged on this Dyson I’ve always wanted and it was worth every penny! Vacuuming is now a quick and painless every-other-day chore that not only leaves my house cleaner than it ever has been but also emits nice clean smelling cool ionizer air. No the battery does not last that long but I don’t need to be vacuuming for more than 40 mins at a time anyway with my bad back, even though the Dyson is very lightweight and comfortable to hold even though you have to hold the button down which is a tad annoying but I got used to it fast. Picks up an indescribable amount of hair and fur from my 3 kitties. Over the moon happy!

Best cordless vacuum out there.
Dyson is the best and you canât tell me different. I love these ease of this and the suction power. My floors look clean, then I run this thing and they clearly werenât. Makes it super easy to run the vacuum daily. Love that itâs cordless, you can reach whatever. Charges fast, but I do wish the battery lasted longer. I am trying to talk my daughter into getting on. She said I should do a Dyson commercial. lol! ð I canât help it, I love them!!!

great for pet hair, quick and easy to use
This stick vac is powerful, quiet, and compact. It picks up the pet hair like no other vacuum I’ve had in the past. The only thing I don’t like is that the handle gets warm during use, and it does take a while to fully charge.

Dyson Never Disappoints!
I love all Dyson products, you really do get what you pay for with name-brand quality. I originally bought a Homeika cordless vacuum, and while it worked well at first, it stopped working pretty quickly.This Dyson vacuum, on the other hand, has the best suction power you could imagine. I love the cordless convenience, the variety of attachments, and how compact it is. Itâs easy to mount on the wall and grab on the go. Itâs also much lighter than bulky plug-in vacuums, which makes it perfect for quick cleanups around the house.Overall, Iâm so glad I stuck with Dyson!

Love it!
Traded in my old bulky vacuum for this one. Itâs small and doesnât take up much space. Itâs powerful and picks up all of the cats hair. My only gripe is the canister is not easy to open and itâs small. So youâll need to empty it while vacuuming. The size and power make up for this inconvenience.

Battery not good
I was really impressed by the suction power of the Dyson V8, it works especially well on my floors, which are constantly covered in dog hair. It picks up everything with ease and glides smoothly. However, the battery life is incredibly frustrating. On a full charge, I barely get 8 minutes of use, which means I can never finish cleaning my house in one go. Then I have to wait hours for it to recharge just to continue. For a vacuum that costs around $300, I expected much better performance. The suction is amazing, but the battery makes it feel not worth the investment.

I am WOWED. I vacuumed my entire house with my cheap cordless vacuum Iâve been using for a couple years and chomchom rolled all my carpet. Then I put this vacuum together and re-vacuumed everything. LOOK AT THAT DUST CANISTER. This was able to pull up hair, dust and dirt from deep in the carpet. I have a mix of short hair/ thin rugs and long carpet. I am beyond Impressed.Extra info: I wouldnât buy this from Amazon, go right to the Dyson website to order. The first time I ordered this vacuum it did not turn on and was defective/ clearly used already.

I call this the magic wand, despite the fact a very different product has appropriated that name. My needs arenât great, the house rarely gets very dirty. I wanted a light weight, cordless vacuum to clean chiefly dog fur on two floors, one wood and tile, the other carpeted. The Dyson V8 Plus does the job easily and swiftly, sucking up all the dog debris, small bits of paper, food scraps, and any other dirt on the floors. It is so much more convenient than using one of those big, cumbersome, corded vacuum cleaners I used to have. I hated lugging these around, especially up and down stairs. Now I can carry the Dyson just in one hand and never worry about plugging and re-plugging the machine. I had some difficulties at the beginning because the Dyson got clogged. It still functioned, but not well: it pulsed, instead of being smooth. Only when I downloaded the manual did I discover the simple solution to my problem, which was to find and remove the blockage in the tube. Then the Dyson worked like magic. The battery doesnât last very long under heavy usage, so I clean one floor at a time, waiting about two hours between these tasks until the machine recharges. Iâm probably too cautious because whenever I finish a floor, I know I still have some leftover power. Itâs not quiet but nor is it especially noisy â and it works so well I canât complain.

The hairscrew tool is shown to be included in this set and that is why I bought this set for my pets hair problem but that specific tool is not included and will be returning the complete set.

I love my Dyson! This is my first Dyson in about 5 years (I lost my previous one in the divorce… lol) and it works like a charm! The suction is very strong, and it vacuums up all my cat hair with ease and in a timely manner.I like that it comes with other attachments, including the smaller vacuum head. It’s very neat and handy for when you have tight spaces to get into. I also like that it charges relatively fast; compared to my Shark handheld vacuum, this one charges very quick.I don’t think there’s any negatives! This is a really good vacuum and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s in the market for a new vacuum.
