Great Heater and looks fantastic
This pyramid heater is great. It looks great and really takes the hill off on a cool evening. Not to mention the added light for a complete and wonderful ambiance. I did have an issue with the glass tube and they were very quick to respond and replace it. I had no issues with assembly and it works great. One more thing….Take your time taking off the protective plastic on the metal parts…..it will take a while!!!

Not as hot as “mushroom” style heaters | Truly Amazing Customer Service
This is an update to my review below. After posting my review below, customer service for East Oak contacted me and offered to send me their 50,000 BTU mushroom style heater for free–and they did! Pretty incredible service. I moved the pyramid style heater to another outside area that doesn’t get as much wind. As I said below, there is nothing particularly wrong with the pyramid style heater, other than it doesn’t produce as much heat as the mushroom style and so is not great for windy areas. Increased my rating to 5 stars b/c of the customer service, but in choosing between heater styles, you should assess whether you need the extra heat of the mushroom style. I rate their mushroom style 5 as well._______________________________________________________________Original review below:These pyramid style heaters are more attractive than the mushroom style that has a big heater head at the top of a post and an umbrella like reflector, but they don’t work as well. I think that is a limitation of the overall type, not this particular brand. My wife wanted the more attractive pyramid type, so I regrettably caved in. This is a 48,000 BTU unit supposedly, whereas many of the pyramid styles are 40,000, so I was hoping this would work acceptably, but it doesn’t really. This might work better in a non windy area. I will say this a good looking unit, but I wish its functionality was better.Assembly was not terrible, but could have been better. The shape/design of the base plate deviates from what the manual shows, so that took some figuring out. There is a helpful assembly video on Amazon. The box comes with some gloves so you don’t cut yourself on the sharp edges–I didn’t know they were in the box until I was all done, I would recommend using them. The screw holes for the plates that are installed around the base seemed a little off, like they were punched or drilled in the wrong place. Had to work a bit to connect the screws through the plate holes to the frame holes. The mushroom style heaters work better and are cheaper, so I think if you have a strong objection about their admittedly less attractive looks, you’d be better served by spending a bit more to buy a prettier mushroom heater, perhaps one with a stainless finish. That would be a better use of the extra money it costs to buy the more attractive/less effective pyramid styles.

Amazing Customer Service!
Pros and cons later, but the customer service was beyond amazing! Over a year after purchasing, a storm blew our heater over and the glass tube broke. After ordering a âreplacementâ on Amazon, I realized this tube diameter was not the standard size. I contacted the company via email to ask how I could buy a replacement tube. But instead, they just sent me a free replacement! Not only that, but they kept me informed on progress and even followed up after delivery to ensure that it all worked out. This is what you get by going with a premium company built on customer satisfaction!Pros: itâs beautiful! It creates an ambiance you just donât get with a lot of other heaters. Great for warming standing guests. Available cover works well to preserve the good looks between uses.Cons: Assembly directions could be better. The heat reflector is relatively high above the ground which limits heat available to seated guests. If this is the style af heater for you, this is the one to get.

Attractive patio heater with small heating radius that takes about 2 hours to assemble
The only reason I didn’t give this heater 5 stars is because of errors in the directions that were enclosed with the packaging and because of the time it takes to peel the protective coating off of the 4 side panels. Also there were extra M5 screws, and short two 3/16in screws. The parts fit well together, but I think Engineering fell a bit short on the design of this heater as most of the heat goes straight up and the heating radius is very small. Seems like a better top plate assembly with some ceramics or other material to provide more infrared heating at the very top of the heater would improve heating similar to what is used on the mushroom heater I have, and I think the top reflector is too small and if it was doubled in size I think it would put out a lot more useable heat. Was considering buying another one of these, but I think I will get a mushroom heater to provide more complete heating. This heater is a good supplemental heater, but probably not the best primary outdoor heater as it does not put out enough heat.

ZERO,,,, I MEAN ZERO HEAT from this unit! Update to the following post!
I love the asthetics of this stainless heater which is why we opted for the more expensive version opposed to the models that are 1/3 of the price. I did have a problem with a defective ignitor which they took care of in an appropriate time frame.. I swapped it out today and it fired right up. I left it on high for 45 minutes and its 30 degrees outside with zero wind and you cant feel any warmth from the heater at ALL! You can see and feel the heat coming from the top burner though if you stand on your tip toes and reach up there. Maybe if it was a little shorter and the deflector on it was 2x the size it would help the heat output but we will never know. We love the ambiance but unfortunately its an expensive decoration that is no more than just a decoration!! I would not buy another one! If i could give it zero stars for heat output it would describe it perfectly.Update 3-12-23East Oak reached out to us and ended up suggesting a 50K unit for out application. It is shorter, has a larger burner and a larger heat deflector on the top making it ideal for a back patio that has no roof. You can feel the heat in a six foot radius and works great for our application. It is easier to assemble too. If you have an outdoor patio with no ceiling this is the one you want!
