Updated 11/3: bought six more strands. Found a solution to put them outside using black plastic electric boxes I found on Amazon to protect the USB heads. They have been in rain and snow for the past month and are all working fine.It took a long time to figure out but after a few hours of playing with the app and they are easily controlled by my phone at a distance using Bluetooth. And I created some custom light shows with the app. You can also increase the brightness on the app. My partner and I like the light level because itâs not obnoxiously light which is important here in vt so there is not excessive light pollution. But they are likely a hair dimmer at full brightness from conventional non color changing strips. Like an max 8 out of 10 brightness. Still looks good though. You can set a preset on off schedule using the remote or custom on off schedule with the app.Original: Bought two of the 66â smart strands so we could leave them up for the holidays as we transition for Halloween to Christmas. I love the sparkling mode with purple for Halloween although the orange and purple looks good too. There are a variety of modes beyond just the colors which are fun to play with. Very easy to sync up the strands if the strand plugs are next to one another. The strands look like theyâll be fine outdoors although I would not put the usb plug portion outside it will absolutely get damaged by water. Make sure the plug is somewhere accessible so you can use the remote which seems to need a good line of sight and close proximity to work. Fortunately we have a power strip with usb-A ports in it. I would recommend purchasing something like that with these or they will be difficult to set up because they do not include blocks or adapter to provide power.Worked great for Halloween and 2024 election eve. My neighbors love them.

Best lights ever, don’t tangle, durable, many options and easy to sync w/ph
Love all the options of colors and selections of different modes! Easy to bluetooth and string on tree! I pray they always have these. Will order more incase these ever go out! Best lights ever! You want be disappointed! Bought 33 ft had to get more for my skinny 7 ft tree! Money well spent. Only problem is remote didn’t work but app works great! Will post video when I get my other set tomorrow. Enjoy! 5 stars! Only negative was one of the remotes didn’t work. But I used my phone so I dont need the remote. I love love these lights. Buying more as I never want to be without any! Love all the features! If you have any issues ask a grandchild my granddaughter fixed up the setting I liked the best and saved it in app for me. These lights are incredible. They are less expensive than most plus have a remote that let’s you change to all different color patterns. Such as red and green green and white,blues ,colorful just a bunch and different blinking patterns such as 1 every minute or chasing eachother fast blinking and more.plus you can. if smart enough (I am not) but if u are you can make them blink to the music. I WOULD DEFINITELY GET FOR NEXT YR .OR FOR YOUR KIDS BEDROOM. Oh and 1 set fit our 6 ft tree .

No replacement Bulbs and already not working
Set up my lights late night at work, the item came with 3 bulbs flashing immediately and by middle of the day the next day almost half of my lights were out. I followed the troubleshoot guide and they would flash when I turn them on and slowly start to go out down the line of the lights.

Have a life stop working after a month
The lights are really cool very pretty. However, after a month of being on my Christmas tree, the top half stopped working you cannot control the sparkling of the lights according to your color. If you pick a certain speed of sparkle, you have to stay with a custom color that it brings, which kind of sucks so for most of the holidays only half of the tree was lit.

Perfect affordable LED lights for small tree!
I was nervous but these came on time and worked perfectly! Great price too. The little included remote did nothing (maybe it needs a battery that is not included?), BUT the phone app linked in the product instructions worked better than imagined and better than any remote. It lets you program an infinite number of scenes with a range of “twinkle” settings. Note that it is powered by a USB plug, not a standard plug but that was easy for me. I didn’t know what size would work for my lil purple tinsle tree so I got two of the 33′ strands. Honestly one strand would be the perfect length, but I doubled up and was able to put lights around the outside and inside of the tree. I would definitely recommend these lights! Probably best for indoor use because of the USB plug. Also note that you cannot connect multiple strands like the old lights, you’ll need a USB outlet for each strand.
