Works great!
Easy to set up and has good lift. It pumps from our stream up to our storage tanks, about 50 feet up the hill. I bought a separate battery and thebsolar panel keeps the battery charged, even in dimmer light.

Best cost vs. function solution for water pumping in remote areas
I will update with pictures if I can later on.I’m in eastern Washington state and needed to pump water with a *surface pump* from the little creek up to where my cabin is for gardening and showering purposes.I used one unit to pump water up the hill for 600 ft and 180 ft elevation where I placed a 275 gallon tank for collection purposes. Then I used another unit to pump that water for another 500 ft and elevation of 150 ft into another tank. Both systems works as intended overall and I’m happy with this product.A regular well would cost 500 times more at my elevation (I was quoted by a drilling company) and I was able to do what I needed (to water, take showers and even a little summer pool) at just a fraction of the cost. This season is over so I’m putting my pumps away and will update how well they work next season. So far I’m happy with the purchase and rate it 10/10. Will update later if something breaks next season etcMake sure you do research before buying to see if this is the right fit for you. You may have to accumulate water to wherever you’re pumping to, because the pump doesn’t pump continuously and is sun depended and wouldn’t work at night. But in a sunny day I was able to pump all the way up to where my cabin is at 330 ft from the creek around 250 gallons.

Requires Wiring, Frustrating But Got It Figured Out in The End
Im updating a fairly negative review I previously left. Although it’s definitely not ideal that blunt end wires have to be connected and it would be helpful to have a manual showing how all the parts go together, the owner of the Amazon store contacted me directly after some not super productive correspondences with Amazon chat and provided clear answers that showed a strong understanding of my question and the product along with offering a substantial (and id say generous) partial refund on the product. Id stand by my initial complaints about it the kit requiring wiring and not having good instructions for combining the separate parts, but in the end I did receive good customer service and the issue resolved.Initial Experience:I don’t know if the system works. If you order this you will receive a solar panel, some additional wires, and a pump with their own manuals but no instructions on how to combine them.To connect the solar panel and pump directly requires connecting two blunt end wires which isn’t a trivial task, although I’m sure it’s super simple to people more experienced in this. Not only do additional connectors need to be bought, but when I’ve contacted customer service several times to have them recommend a connector or further guidance on how to connect the blunt end wires they just send me back a diagram showing that black goes to black and red goes to red, which is already on the listing, and doesn’t help actually physically making the connection.Additionally, the pump came with a manual saying that intricate prep like greasing and pulling back the wire coverings was required for the pump or the warranty would be voided, but that had appeared to already be done for my pump (as confirmed by the company) but is another example of the materials poorly matching the instructions.I hope to get this working with only $15 or so in extra parts. After about 6 back and forth a with their customer service, I’m largely giving up on them and trying to make it work with friends with more electrical experience.

Not A Drop!
Bough this to install in an old pasture and well so we can graze it. NO, instructions on how to do it and what did come was so small you could not read it. We basically re did the well to make it work, connected a battery so we were not completely sun dependent, and 72 hours later, not a drop, not an indication, NOTHING. Want to yank it out of the ground and send the thing back but way to much to do that. I just want the damn thing to work as promised. Buyer Beware, but I definitely would think twice about using it in anyplace you really wanted water. This was an easy one, fill trough for small livestock and refill, does not seem able to do that.

pump when the sun shines
I’ve been pumping water almost every day for almost 3 weeks to fill a trough for cattle from an old and shallow hand dug well. My original wiring dropped the voltage too much and did not work well. I rewired the pump directly to the 100W panel through a heavy duty battery switch, a heavy duty outdoor J box, SAE connectors with 10 ga pigtails and now as long as the sun is shining it works very well, not so well when it’s cloudy. I’m satisfied for now. This beats the alternative, a gas powered trash pump. Next steps are battery and controller, maybe another panel, and automation.

Good with some caveats
The pump and solar panel and controller were all delivered separately which took longer than expected but the seller communicated this when we reached out to them. The pump works on sunny days but not if at all cloudy. If you bear this in mind, it’s a good value.

Good product and excellent customer service
We installed the pump at our ranch and itâs working great. Weâre in the desert and itâs nice not to have to pay for electric to get water. The pump had a few problems we discovered only a few days before the 90 day return time . I contacted them and they sent us a replacement with no problems. I was most impressed. Shipping was ver very prompt too.

Bought pump & solar panel to draw water from a 6 metre deep drilling in clay subsoilSystem easy to set up & operatePump so efficient it overtakes well refill rate so have had to add timer to pump CircuitFirst time at attempting this type of project – delighted with resultsWould have preferred a longer cable to pump to avoid necessity of a waterproof connectionOtherwise everything operated as described & instructions clear enough
