Why does a flashlight get hot during use?
A high-lumen flashlight will emit a high-heat beam during use. It’s normal for it to heat up, so there’s no need to worry. Turning it off for 30 seconds and then turning it on again after using it for a while will restore it to normal.

Versatile pocket light.
This is a pretty cool little pocket light. Two control switches make for easy operation One for the end beam and another for the side lamp. The end lamp offers three settings and a strobe and is not adjustable. It offers a decent amount of usable light. The side light is really good and offers four modes and throws a lot of usable light and has a cool cop car strobe. The end magnet makes the lamp more versatile. Charges quickly and seems to work very well. The pocket clip is made of plastic and is fairly loose. Overall is appears to be a good value for a budget lamp and I would recommend and buy again.

Nice, but Delicate
Nice light, but clip magnet came loose after a few weeks, buttons are difficult to feel in the dark, no way to contact seller about defective clip magnet. Otherwise a very good light, bright, two types of lights, dimmable, but needs some refinement

Very bright and convenient flashlight for work
The flashlight turned out to be very convenient and practical. The magnets hold firmly, it is easy to attach under the hood or on metal surfaces and work with free hands. The light is bright and uniform, the different modes are really useful, especially the red one in the dark. It charges quickly via USB C, the battery lasts a long time. The compact size allows you to carry it with you in your pocket or bag. The weight is almost imperceptible. The clip is plastic, so you need to handle it carefully, but overall the quality is excellent.

Nice features, great value
I just received this today and it exceeded my expectations. The main beam is bright, but also very useful is side strip of LEDs that serve as a work light. It has magnets on the clip and on one end for easy mounting. The clip also can rotate to orient the main cylinder where you need it. A cool feature of the lighting modes is that if you click to a particular mode and use that for several seconds, you don’t have to cycle thru the remaining modes to turn it off. One click and it’s off. That’s convenient. It comes with both an alkaline and rechargeable AA battery, despite the listing saying it takes AAA – they’re definitely AA. Love that I can simply charge it via USB, rather than a battery charger – any USB C cord will do. I bought this to keep in my car for engine bay use, but it’s so handy I might keep it more accessible in the house, or at this price, maybe just buy another one!
