I have purchased this two times already. Both times all wood was identified, flat, only a couple pieces had cracks. Very usable selection for small projects, Great for making boxes. I got a selection of four or five different types of wood. Wood is mostly thick pieces, 1-2″ thick, approximately 12″ long. Highly recommend this company compared to the others out there. Will definitely be making more purchases.

I have ordered these cut offs a few times now. You get a great variety of wood species. They are nice sizes pieces as well that are easy to work with. They come in a few different dimensions. They pieces are always in great shape. I would definitely recommend this assortment to orhers.

I received 13 pieces of lumber in the box. 4 of the 13 had issues including cracks, warp, and other defects that would render them not useful. It would have been nice if they did some quality check before packaging the lumber pieces.

Excellent variety
I’m very pleased with this purchase. I ended up with five different species of wood.One of the woods was not labeled but I believe it is Ipe. The other four are Massaranduba, Greenheart, purpleheart, and Darina. I will definitely be buying a box

I had lot of fun with this wood
There is some very unique wood in this collection. I make trays and lazy Susans in the shape of Texas. This wood is so dense and heavy, the cutting is really slow. I blew through a couple jigsaw blades. That said, the wood is unique and interesting. Most of the it is labeled as to type and the pieces were all about the same in length. There were a couple different thicknesses. I used my first box and ordered a second. Good product. Decent Price. Delivery was quick. No complaints.

What I did receive is excellent. However, while a lot of reviews tell of receiving up to 5 different wood species and the seller guaranteeing at least two different species, I received only one type of wood, IPE. I was hoping for more variety to use on small projects, but I got a box full of the same wood. Disappointing. I contacted the seller and they offered me a $10 refund or return the box.
