Great For lawn enthusiasts’.
My husband attached this to our regular push lawn mower for more defined lines in the yard. He instantly saw results. All the neighbors ask him how his lawn looks so professional. It looks like a golf course. He never takes it off the mower. He mows a different direction each time and it makes the lines so crisp and clean. You don’t have to charge it or remove it. It’s very durable and a great value for the money. It does not slow down the mowing process or speed.

Easy install, Works perfectly with my EGO 21” self propelled mower
Amazing.  I did a spring re-hab on my lawn that hasn’t had anything done to it in probably 20 years. I bought the house and wanted to start fixing the lawn.   I dethatched and scarified parts that were so dead and matted not even weeds were growing.  I seeded that part and overseeded the rest with kentucky bluegrass / fescue // rye scott’s commercial blend.    I wasn’t expecting to be able to stripe yet but got this anyway, but, I was able to lay down some double thick fairway width stripes even though the lawn still has a ton of weed pressure and thin spots.    My install was easy because I had a model that was just put on and use.   Beware some models require modifying the mower just look and the manual and compare.  Even if I had to spend 30-45mins installing this and not 30 seconds I would still re-buy this product if I lost all my ego stuff tomorrow.Â

Nice stripes, even on St. Augustine
Easy to attach, helps if you lift the bagger flap door to see the axles a bit better. Left nice stripes on early season short St. Augustine grass, which is difficult (almost impossible) to stripe, especially when cut short. Adds weight of course, but doesnât impede the ability to move mower backwards. All in all, excellent striper, nice and heavy, looking forward to see how it does when the grass is growing at full thickness.

Changes mower maneuverability drastically
This makes decent stripes, built solid and easy to mount. Only reason I gave it 4* is one, it’s expensive for what it is and two, it makes the mower VERY hard to maneuver in smaller yards. If you have a sidewalk or patio around your grass it’d be perfect. If you’re like me and have just mower strips and planters/plants…it’s not worth the headache. I can still turn it around and stuff but in the grass and it messes up the stripes on the ends where you turn around.

works exceptionally well goes right on my eco mower you have to remove the plastic flap and replace with the one provided so the striper can go on all the way and not hit the screws great product

Functions well, but very difficult to turn without digging into the ground. If there are any tight areas or sharp turns (such as up against fences, etc.), you’ll likely want to mow those areas first before attaching the striping kit. At least it’s easy to attach and detach.

Amazing stripes!
I wish I can compare this item to other stripers but I canât. It is on the heavy side. I can definitely feel the difference when I hook it up to the mower. The extra weight is a pretty good workout. All required parts were received in the packaging and installation was easy for me because I had a newer model mower. There have been some customers who have had to replace their rubber strip in the rear so it can hook up properly, but Iâm glad I didnât have to do that. The striper is solid! No issues with manuevering at different angles. Like I stated before, it is heavy and you will feel the weight difference. Lastly Iâd say itâs definitely worth the price. Ego makes some good stuffâ¦except their batteries.

Awesome! Super easy to use and love the ease of installing or removing. For reference I have the older Ego self propelled mower (LM2100SP).Battery usage: Iâve added the newer (green) high lift bagging blades which also draw more power. With the blades, this roller and using the self propelled power for much of the mow, I use a 7.5ah battery for my 2,500 sq ft lawn and it lasts. If you double mow (to get the best looking stripes), it wonât last for two full cuts and I have to slap in the 5ah battery to finish it.Tips: double mow, same direction. You donât have to but the stripes will look MUCH better. Also, mow slowly. This ensures a good cut but also a bit more time of the roller applying weight to the grass blades. Take your time, relax and enjoy outdoors. Itâs easiest to install and remove when you set the mower on the lower height settings. For reference I cut my TTTF/PR/KBG at the #4 setting (just about 4inches).

Used on ego lawn mower Lm2135sp. Very simple to install ie you need to âheaveâ the mower off the ground to just hook it onto the axle. So maybe not so simple. In terms of adding âstripesâ – I didnât see any difference then the standard plastic flap that already exists on the model. (Note, the box comes with an extra flap also). It is very difficult to make turns as it a fixed item, it very difficult to reverse, gets scratched up when moving over gravel/pathway etc as itâs a bitch to remove and replace between locations. It does have significant weight to it which is a plus but just didnât see the benefit on my 3inch/80mm buffalo. (Paid $220 AUD.)

Bought it to see what the hype was about. Lifted up my ego mower and the striper handle bent and no longer fits onto the mower. Customer support is horrible and wonât even respond to emails. Avoid.
