Extra length really helps!
We love the Ego products. We needed more length on our Ego power saw, so we ordered this. It gave us enough length to cut some higher branches. It works well!

Works good,highly recommend to loosen collars and align saw blade so it’s as straight as possible and resecure or will vibrate and not cut properly.

Reach for it, stranger!
I needed this extension pole to allow me to use my new EGO Power+ power head with hedge trimmer attachment to trim some hanging branches that were about 10-15 feet above the ground. Because of the terrain I couldn’t use a ladder, and this looked like a good choice. To keep down the suspense, I’ll start by saying: Yes, it was a very good choice!This is a simple extension pole made specifically for the EGO Power+ power heads. It was packed in a simple box and came at an attractive price. Putting it to use was easy–take it out of the box, line up the arrows with the power head, snap it in. I attached the hedge trimmer, then tried it with the brush cutter. Connecting and disconnecting the attachments were simple and quick.I was a bit surprised at just how much reach I got from it. Once I attached the extension and the hedge trimmer, The tool was about 9 feet long. I was able to reach the high limbs with no problems. The extension had no problem transmitting full power to the heads.I would have preferred that the extension be made of carbon fiber. That would make it lighter and stronger, and make it match the power head. Not a big deal, and I wouldn’t trade it in at this point!I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs to add some reach to their EGO Power+ tools.

Useful extension for pole saw, but a little pricey
I purchased this extension for an EGO POWER Multi System 56-volt 10-in 2.5 Ah Pole Saw to increase reach. The net increase is approximately 24″, accounting for the length of insertion into the power head and pole saw attachment.The extension is sturdy. The camps and attach latches are solid, fit and finish is excellent, and there is no problem with the center drive mechanism. The extension is light weight and has virtually no impact on balance of the saw in use. The heaviest part of the saw is at the far end battery, which make the saw steady and easy to control.

This EGO extension is very light weight and a great value for your money. Having an extension for my EGO makes height to reach branches a lot easier without getting on a ladder. It has been very durable without any issues. Very easy to use and perfect size. They also have the carbon fiber available.

This allows me to extend the reach of my pruning saw so that I could prune the branches on a maple tree that was overhanging the roof of our church. Sure beats having to get a ladder out and finding someone to hold it stable while I do the pruning. Simple to attach and works like a champ!

Does as advertised. Gives you and extra bit of reach. I wondered why there wasn’t a longer extension but now that I’ve used it, I can see that the weight of the saw on the end of this length is about as much as you can comfortably swing around.
