Rotary nail tool
First I’ll list the the good stuff, then I’ll explain why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 even though I really like it (because I really like it).*This kit comes with 10 different bits, and the sanding barrel thingie has 60 replacement barrels/tubes? so I expect those will be a lifetime supply that I will someday pass down to my kids.It also comes with a brush, a charging cord that is USB A to USB C, and it comes with a drawstring pouch to hold everything.*Why buy this instead of just using a rotary tool? I Why not buy one of the cheaper nail tools?1. This has a built in light, i love that! None of my rotary tools do, and the cheaper nail tools that I looked at didn’t, either.2. This can go left AND right, all my rotary tools are one direction, I think this might be standard for nail tools.3. It has 10 speeds and the low is lower than any of my rotary tools, which allows for more fine control. The high is 15000rpm which is higher than at least one of my rotary tools. Add in the 10 total different speeds it has more options than any of my rotary tools, my first only had low(6000rpm) and high (14000rpm), my nicest one has 5, I’m not sure the range. A lot of the cheaper nail tools max out at much lower speeds. Sometimes you just need a little extra.4. The tools are designed for nails and callouses, they feel like they’re a higher grit, less coarse, than the similar ones I have for a dremel. That means they are much more effective and do a better job. I don’t know how to take a picture of that, it’s more of a feel so you’ll have to trust me. A lot of the cheaper nail tools only have a couple of the bits, maybe that’s fine but I like to be prepared for everything that may pop up.5. It has a little shield to help you see without crap flying in your face. None of my rotary tools have one, though it is something you can buy extra, I just don’t have one, so it’s exciting and novel to me. It’s kinda hit and miss for the cheaper nail tools.**So to summarize, this has more speeds, more options, can spin clockwise or counterclockwise, and has better tools for a fair price. Your value per dollar is higher.WHY 4 STARS INSTEAD OF 5*Biggest complaint: I don’t like that the bits are just pushed in and pulled out with no additional tightening or loosening. Whatever is in the head has to be some type of rubbery silicone grippy material that relies solely on friction and that’s going to be the part that fails first. Without being able to see it, i can’t hazard a guess, worst case scenario it hardens in a year or two, best case scenario it wears out from use a few more years down the road. I really wish they had used the mechanism that rotary tools and drills use of 3 point metal contact that is twisted to tighten or loosen, or even a collet with a screw to hold it tight, anything is better than some material that can’t be adjusted and relies on friction because any material that has relies solely on its own friction WILL wear out with use. I like this and I don’t want to have to get a new one in like 5 years.*Petty complaint: I don’t love the drawstring pouch, just chucking 10 bits and 60 sanding barrels in the bottom of the bag loose. Rubbing on each other drastically reduces their lifespan so I got a couple snack sized zipper bags that are still way too big, I’ll try to find something smaller. I wish it had a better option to hold the accessories like a little box that clasps shut or a couple small zipper bags. I didn’t knock off a star for this because it’s too petty.

this is a really good set comes with all accessories shown in pictures. The rotary tool is well made, its not loud and rotates smoothly, the light is very helpful. I love that its cordless and has different speed selections. I did my manicure great on natural nails on speed #2. Its charges pretty fast. This is a good drill for the price.
