    Sturdy and lightweight!
Bought these for my next section of hiking the AT. Was really trying to find something lightweight, simple and budget friendly while not compromising durability. I have a few weeks until my trip, so I have only been able to test them out in my backyard.First, the sleek little bag they come with provides a nice condensed package for being able to toss into your pack or possibly into your hammock stuff sack. The craftsmanship appears to be of very high quality. Wrapping around the tree and connecting your hammock to the labeled loops is super painless and convenient. So far, I am extremely impressed with this purchase. I will update my review if needed once I get back from my trip. Absolutely thrilled to have found this system!

    SO light and SO easy
If you’re thinking of getting an ENO hammock or similar and already know you’re going to spend a lot of time putting up and taking down your hammock, I’d HIGHLY recommend getting these straps. One of the things I find tedious about the strap systems that normally come with these camping hammocks is in order to find the perfect tension you end up clipping, un-clipping, and re-clipping in your hammock repeatedly to find the perfect loop to use for each particular setup. Not with the Helios system – you put the straps around the tree, hook in your hammock, and tension to where you need it. I’m never using any other strap system – these are a no-brainer. PLUS they pack down a LOT smaller and lighter. I’m never using the old system again.

    Favorite hammock straps
These are hands down my favorite hammock straps. They pack down so much smaller and lighter than the flat webbing ones, they *almost* fit into the hammock bag itself (not quite though). They are simple to use, and mine have stood up to 5+ years of seasonal use (5-10 times /year). Now every time I buy a new hammock, I buy another set of these.

    Super light straps
Grabbed these for my eno sub6 and they are perfect! I love the clasps. They are super simple and minimalistic to keep the weight down. Mine weigh 4oz without the bag.The bag would be my only complaint. For a super lightweight product they could have made a lighter bag without the big thick ENO patch on it but it went in the trash anyways. Still 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Wow
This works as advertised. Performs perfectly with the Sub 6 hammock, and is so much lighter than regular hammock straps. It holds my fat ass, 6’1″ & 265lbs, so it’s a pass in my book. Using it at first was somewhat sketchy, the rope section gave off some eerie sounds, but held in the end. The price’s a bit steep in my opinion but it works as advertised, and I hope it’ll last for many more trips.

LOOKING FOR AN EASY ALTERNATIVE? THIS IS IT!
super easy to setup and takedown, good amount of length each sling, very strong and held its tension all night, better than a bunch of knots.bought these to go on my hennessy hammock setup that i added carabiners to instead of the lines and these work amazing. its a super fast setup and making adjustments is just as fast. small and easy to pack back up.only bad thing i can find so far making sure you dont over tighten the sling because you may struggle getting it loose again as you need to pull back on the tension a little to loosen the berry(part the string pulls through) of the sling and also allowing enough room for your fingers to get in the loop to loosen the tension.

    Love these straps/suspension!!!!!
VERY easy to set up with my ENO Skylite hammock. Had my hammock ready to hang in after less than five minutes. I will probably get some tubular nylon to run the straps through to prevent wear on the straps as they do feel like they could be damaged rather easily by the tree bark snagging on it. The suspension functions exactly like whoopie slings if you’ve seen those before. If you look on YouTube, there are a few videos showing how to set up these atlas straps and they are useful. I found the ideal distance between trees for this suspension is around 7 yards / 21 feet…plus or minus a few feet either way of course as there is some adjustability. For closer trees, just wrap the tree straps around a couple of times to reduce the effective length of the straps.Great system. I think I will also get the Atlas XL set just to have more options when the trees are farther apart.
