Dual voltage approved!!!!
Last year I went to Europe and bought a Chi that said it was dual voltage. It fried the 1st time I tried to use it. I searched high and low for a dual voltage flat iron and stumbled across this one. I was skeptical because of what happened to me last time and the fact that this one is a lot smaller than what I normally use (I have pretty thick hair). I took it on my 2 week Greece vacation and it worked PERFECTLY!!! I loved having the option of curling my hair, as well. It’s small, lightweight, and was easy to pack in my backpack! The only negative is that the on/off button is where you can easily turn it off on accident when doing your hair so just be mindful of that.

Nice size and easy to use
Great size and color. Doesnât get as hot as mentioned in some reviews but works on small sections. Holds ends in with no slipping. I have long thick stubborn hair so it takes a while to curl. Hope the dual voltage works as described Iâll be in S. Africa. Would have given a 5 if you could control the temperature

I was both skeptical and excited to receive this curling iron. As soon as it was delivered I immediately took it out of the box to try. I had freshly washed hair with zero product in it. I wanted to see how well it curled hair on its own. I AM AMAZED AND SUPER PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT. I have long hair that goes to the middle of my back, I was curious if the compact design would cause issues with my long hair vs a regular size curling iron. I had no issues and it worked just as well and as easy as my full size. I tried out the straightener function and it also worked really well. You do need to clamp down on the tip of the barrel to get a good grip on the hair when straightening, but it was designed to have finger tip protection to do so.My only constructive criticism would be for the template. There is no temp setting. On and off is all you get. I have moderately fine hair. Although my hair was curled with ease and curled as if it was set to about 345-365 degrees, I do not want to put anymore heat than that on my hair and I have no idea what the temp was when I used it. If I were to leave it plugged in and on longer I donât know if it would maintain that âsafe heatâ range for my hair or if the temp will increase. It would be nice to have a setting for the temp.Other than that I am so happy that I made this purchase. It will make traveling with my beauty products more manageable and less bulky. I feel like I end up taking an entire salon with me when travel and itâs just a hassle. This little 2 in 1 iron fits in my toiletry bag and that makes it a double win in my book.I highly recommend this 2 in 1 mini flat/curling iron.

Small but mighty
This might have been the best purchase for travel that Iâve ever made! It is very compact but it heats super fast and very hot. I think it might work better than my full size curling iron. And the curling feature with a flattening feature on the same tool is genius! I like to travel light and I also like to look great when I travel. My hair looks perfect when I use this thing. Highly recommend if you travel oversees and need to pack light.

Iâd give this zero stars if I could.As a tour operator and guide, I brought this tool with me on a recent trip to Australia, hoping it would be a convenient all-in-one solution. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment.Pros:The curling iron portion functions… that’s about the only positive.Cons:⢠The temperature is set at over 400°F and cannot be adjusted. My hair typically requires a much lower heat (around 300°F), and even brief use at this high temperature caused significant damage.⢠The straightener was ineffective. It didnât clamp tightly enough to straighten my hair properly. Which, looking back, is probably a good thing.⢠Itâs too small for anyone with long or thick hair. I had both, and after using this tool, I ended up needing a haircut due to the damage it caused.Overall, I would not recommend this product, especially if your hair is sensitive to heat or requires gentle styling tools. A disappointing purchase.

I only gave it 1 star because it looked good. These straightners should not be sold because the hole head heats up and if you are not looking at it and accidently pick it up when its heated up you can end up with sevre burns on your hands like i did. Also i used it to straighten my Fringe and i was badly burned on my forhead which has left a scar. Also its sold as a travel hair straightener – there is no way you would be able to put it back in your backpack if you are using it while you are travelling – when its heated up its red hot.

This is very small, but heats up quickly and does well both curling and straightening. It comes with a nice travel bag and a glove, which isnât needed because the curler has a clip. I took it to Paris and it served me well with a plug converter only, so it works well in European 220v systems.

I like the size and the actual curling part was good. The straightening part not so much. I mean it straightened my hair if I went really slow and held it down but it was so much effort. If it clamped down a bit better then it would be better. Seller was friendly and responsive!
