Redesigned from the ground up – the all new R300DCT electric disc cutter is the simplest tool for cutting concrete, reinforced concrete, stone, brick, paving & more! It has an improved cut capacity of 4-1/2” vs the existing model making this one of the deepest cutting 12” machines on the market! The high torque 15A electric motor delivers consistent peak power and stops the machine from slowing down under heavy load. The motor starts first time, every time and does not emit any harmful fumes making this suitable for use indoors or in enclosed spaces. Plus, you don’t need to worry about expensive fuel or servicing! It features a wheeled skid plate which makes light work of long, ground level cuts and it also lifts the blade off the ground so it can be put down even while the blade is spinning. Try it for yourself!

Superb Saw
I used this Evolution R300DCT saw to cut off the deteriorating front edge of my front porch. About 22 feet of 3.5″ concrete and the saw using the included diamond blade cut fantastic. After struggling to make my cut line straight, I took the advice of another reviewer and used an old circular saw with a cheap 7″ diamond blade to make a guide groove about 3/4″ deep. I then made two passes a little over an inch with the Evolution and let the saw do the work… too easy and a straight cut!My only suggestion would be to upgrade for $25 to the PLUS model which is the same saw but comes with a water system. I used my pump-up sprayer with my wife driving and it worked fine. But with the PLUS model, I could have done it myself and eliminated the complaining.I used a heavy 12 gauge 25′ extension cord on a 20 amp circuit and had zero issues. I fully believe most of the people complaining about the saw or cord overheating are using extension cords that are too small or too long. This R300DCT is a quality tool at a great price, I fully recommend it if you need to do some concrete, block, or paver cutting. Like me, you can save yourself thousands of dollars by doing the job yourself!

Great customer service on a great product
We have had this saw for quite a while, using it to cut asphalt and concrete. It has worked flawlessly. The cord is good and long and the cut depth adequate for our needs. We were using gas powered saws in the past but the hard starting, maintaining the machine and issues with employees not understanding the need to mix oil with gas left us breaking them or not able to use them when we needed them most. This electric motor is plenty strong enough to compete with gas motors and it starts each time, every time.I needed a new handle after backing over the saw with a truck. The call was answered instantly (by Josh in tech support) and a new handle shipped that day for only $18.00. No charge for shipping apparently and no huge charge for a fairly complicated handle. I would buy another but this one just keeps going.

Perfect DIYer investment
This saw proved to be everything I had hoped for. Though I was skeptical bout an electric saw in a wet environment, I couldnât justify spending another $grand on a gas powered unit. As this may be my only project requiring cutting of masonry, a check on price of 16â and 14â blades told me go with this 12â. At no point during this patio project did I feel I made wrong choice as the saw easily handles 2 3/8â pavers and 5â thick retaining wall blocks. Job was made easier by fabbing a Jig that the sawâs wheels rested in with a fence for pavers to rest against. Picture a metal chop saw on reversed with blade pointing away from you. A Kerf in the fence left by blade allows me to simply hook tape measure on paver and measure to kerf with no need to mark material.

Unexpectedly good
I was hesitant as I’ve always had gas powered demo saws, while the cord is something to get used to, it’s really not much of a problem. The weight is about the same, maybe a little lighter, but it’s smaller size makes it easier to handle. Only issue is blade bind. You have to left the saw do the work, any type of force or twist on the blade will cause harm to the motor and stop the unit from working. If you treat the tool with respect, it performs just as good for the fraction of the price. I’ve been using the supplied blade and it works fantastic. I’ve been cutting 6 inch terrace wall block, which is pretty abrasive and have done so now about 30-40 times through. Given the 4.5inch blade depth, you have to turn over and cut again. Not much of an issue as you have to do that with the equivalent Stihl demo saw. Again, that can cost 800-1600 dollars. No more carb issues, hard starts or mixing fuel. Just plug it in and go. ð

First model was fantastic.
Return customer. They changed the product. This one shuts down and needs to be restarted. I tried to go to the support website but can’t submit ticket as the button they require me to consent to date storage dies not exist. Disappointed. Used for 6 cuts and its costing me time. Wish they left original model alone. Do not recommend. Will change review of customer service contacts me. I don’t have time to call. I know what I’m doing… It’s not me it’s the machine.

It keeps the workspace cleaner and safer, and the dust port is compatible with most shop vacuums.Cons:1. **Weight:** This saw is on the heavier side, which might be a challenge if you need to transport it frequently.2. **Price:** While the quality justifies the cost, it might be a bit steep for occasional users. In summary, the Evolution R300DCT Concrete Saw is a fantastic tool for anyone in the construction or DIY field. Its outstanding performance, low vibration, and durability far outweigh its minor drawbacks in terms of weight and price. If you’re serious about concrete cutting, this saw is a top-notch choice!

Not sure why there’s so many bad reviews but I think this saw is really good value for it’s performance! I’m doing my own interlocking in the backyard and was able to use this to cut my pavers with no problem! The pavers that is used were 60mm and 90mm thick, I had no issue cutting them.
