Easy to work with
I had to do some repairs on a large water trough for our horses. They had kicked inside and created a long split in a tricky curved area. Previous attempts to seal it with other glue or resin did not work as it was not creating a large enough surface area for the resin to hold on to. With this fiber glass matt I was able to address a wider area. I roughed up the plastic with sandpaper and then laid resin over the entire crack wetting it down, then worked the fiberglass into it. Waited and repeated this three times increasing the area to the left and right of the crack. This is working and has been holding on for a while!

This is good quality fiberglass tape (dry). It has a tight weave and the two different widths give you options for a variety of projects Whether you are wrapping an exhaust pipe, patching a body panel or boat, or reinforcing a skateboard or surfboard, this fiberglass tape is a great solution. Rolls are generous, meaning you’ll have enough fiber to do multiple projects, depending on size. For the amount of material you get I thought it was a great deal.

I used this to insulate my hot water pipes in the basement. Wrapping the lines in a spiral took a while, not sure this tape would be better than pipe insulation, but we’ll see. The tape itself is strong and very flexible.

Woven roven fiberglass tape, stronger than fiberglass mat.
This item arrived timely. It comprises 99 feet each of 2″ and 4″ tape. It is sedged at the edges to prevent unraveling. I’ve used woven roven to fuse two halved of molded fiberglass for a kayak, for car bodywork repairs with “Bondo”, to backstop repairs to wood and for building a fiberglass air-gap space filler. It is way stronger than the usual matted fiberglass, and is less likely to irritate your skin with small glass fragments. I would have liked to see a warning to this effect somewhere on the product.This lookse like quality woven roven and I’ll add to the review when I get an opportunity to use it.

I have a racecar that utilizes some fiberglass body panels. this tape comes in pretty handy for small repaies without having to cut up a larger piece, full roll of fiberglass for some small patchwork. also works pretty well to wrap around leading edges with complex curves. just a nifty size to keep in the compsites repair box for when its needed. it wet out fine with epoxy and turned rock hard after a 24hr cure. overall very happy with it

The rolls were clean edged and ready to spool right out of the box like a dispenser. I plan to cover my longbow with the wider roll and an exterior resin. This will make the handling easier
