Customers say
Customers find the fiberglass repair kit works well on tubs and sinks, is easy to use, and produces good quality results. The color match receives mixed feedback – while customers can get a color match, they note the base color isn’t white. Moreover, durability is also mixed, with some saying it’s holding up well while others report peeling issues. Additionally, customers disagree on the value for money, with some considering it good for the price while others find it not worth the cost. The sanding ability is also mixed, with customers noting it dries quickly but can be difficult to sand down.

Did the job
Did the job nicely, I did a poor job matching color but that was on me.

Easy repair kit!
Stopped our leak! We were really frustrated to find a crack in the tub/shower insert after only 5 years, but this kit saved so much work! It was easy to apply and hardened up in the time it said. Although we did play it safe and gave it an extra 12 hours of drying time.

Color hard to match
Product worked well but color matching is difficult. It is a white base and you add black and/or a yellowish gold colorant and mix until you can match the color. Can be difficult to match.

Very disappointed Don’t waist your money read on to see why
I ordered this product to fill some holes in my shower tiles, The first order I received had the bonding bottles overflowing and I could not get them open, So I returned it for a replacement, thinking I could do this and that it looked to be a fast fix. However when I received the seconds package, it looked similar to the first one I received having overflows in the bonding bottles but not so much that I could not open them, I started step by step and laid everything out. When I tried to mix the two bottles Part A and Par B Together I noticed that in the stepped pictures they were using a spoon in step 1 and 2 rather than the enclosed tool to combine them so I got a spoon and mixed the two parts together. Also when I started to mix the color agents the little plastic jars were very tiny and also in the mixing step 2 they show using a small spoon to take out the color agents , not to be deterred I got out my tiny spoons and began to transfer the color agent over into the mixed bonding agents. There was no way I could derive a light grey color as there were not enough orange color mix to get anything but a lighter black color. At that point I had to give it up as putting black putty on my grey bathroom tiles wasn’t going to work, so I threw in the towel. Perhaps this could work on a white surface or something darker. Beware you may not have all the tools to get the colors out of their containers and that you might have difficulty mixing Part A and Part B without a spoon and It’s very messy and pair of plastic gloves enclosed will likely not make it through the process as mine tore up just getting the lids off Part A and Part B

Outstanding product
Great product I had a massive burn hold on my shower surround from a candle. I covered it up with this and you canât tell there was ever an issue. The color was almost spot on just mix the orange color sparingly I used 2 drops to make a beige. I hardly needed any of the orange paint.

Great product for reasonable price
I used this product to fill 6 holes and 2 small nicks in my old acrylic bathtub after removing an old shower door frame. Overall this worked great, the spots are not noticeable from a distance and are only slightly noticeable up-close because I wasnât able to match the color perfectly since the tub has discolored over the years. But it looks so much amazingly better than it did with the holes or with the shower frame. The only downsides to the kit were 1) I ran out of sandpaper and had to go buy some more, so be prepared if you have difficult or a lot of holes that you may need additional sandpaper (which was easy to get from a home improvement store), and 2) the tool provided for scraping was a bit hard to use to fill holes and evenly scrape the mix across the hole being fixed. I got it pretty close and then put masking tape over top and smoothed the mix out under the tape, and then left the tape on until it was dry for a smoother finish. Also, Iâd like to reiterate what another reviewer said – a little color goes a long way. I didnât add much and the color was already too intense so it took a bit to get it right. So donât mix all of the A and B compounds together right away in case you need to add more later to lighten your color.

Not exactly what I was expecting but worked well
I got this kit to fix my new bathroom vanity top that I managed to chip during a faucet installation when I dropped my wrench just as I had completed everything. Of course this was the vanity top that I had to special order and wait almost a month to have delivered. I was ready to rip it off and buy another when I saw this kit and decided it would be worth a shot fixing it rather than replace it as I had nothing to lose. The repair kit came complete right down to a pair of disposable gloves I didn’t use but wished I had after getting the epoxy on my hands. There are two fairly large jars of epoxy, labeled part A and B but when I pealed back the foil seal on each I found that both were filled about 1/5 (maybe less) of the way up. In addition to the epoxy were two colorants, black and yellow. I was hoping it would include more colors but since I really needed a sort of gray final color and the fact that the epoxy’s are white, mixing a little of the black with the epoxy would do it and it did. Be careful to only add a drop of the colorant at a time as a little goes a very long way and I had to mix more than I needed because it was too dark initially. The epoxy’s were thicker (and much more sticky) than I had envisioned and getting them off the popsicle stick I was using for mixing was a bit of a chore. One of the good things about this epoxy is, however, that it has a long working time (probably 30 minutes) and is self leveling. I thought this epoxy would be more like fiberglass resin but it is not. It does eventually dry hard but is not quite as glossy.Long story short, I was able to fix my vanity and match the color pretty well. I notice where I fixed the chip only because I’m aware of it but no one in my family was able to find the repair until I pointed it out. In the end I saved myself a lot of work and about $300 on a new top so it was well worth the effort.

I made a booboo in my shower and made a chip on the shower floor. I ordered this material and it was easy to repair and now after months of usage, I cannot even figured out were I made the chip. Excellent product

I used it to repair minor cracks in my floor tiles. Mixture was easy to work with, and it was easy to achieve a matching tile colour (my tiles were greige).

Filled a hole in a sink where a new faucet was to be installed. The hole was originally for the drain handle. Had to support the fix with a small board underneath the spot. Also a curved restraint to keep the repair from running away. Took several small applications to build up the patch. Most trouble was trying to match the color. Came very close one time, but could not replicate it very well after. However, the result was surprisingly good. Faucet installed and repair is hardly noticeable.
