5″ compression fitting stem caster wheels, no tools. needed
Long delivery. Promised next day and sat in local warehouse for 5 days, with notice from Amazon that they do not know when it will be delivered. Same thing happened on second purchase order to back up first. Once received, the wheel are better than promised. Good poly urethane wheels, good foot actuated locking brakes and solid construction. Instruction for installation short. It is best to select rubber compression donut one size smaller than pipe. Pre-compress the rubber before insertion and then tighten. Otherwise inside nut only spins when tightened.

Very well made wheels, easy install, clear instructions
I replaced a set of wheels on a steel prep table with these and the process couldnât have been easier from start to finish. The enclosed instructions were very clear, the entire job took a few minutes, the wheels are well made, turn freely and the brakes work well and are relatively easy to apply compared to some. No regrets on this purchase, an easy 5/5.

Easy system to use
This caster system is easy to use for hollow legs having an irregular or non-standard inside diameter. The casters each come with 2 rubber bushings of 7/8â and 1â diameter. These bushings can be made wider by tightening them down between a couple washers, causing them to compress and expand. In that way, if you have a leg that is slightly greater than 1â, for example, these casters can be made to fit snug. Great quality and durable, everything about them feels rugged. I installed mine on a work bench that I occasionally need to move around. The wheels are a hard rubber and roll easily. They donât mark my floor. I bought the 3â ones and they work fine for my application, a work table with a few 3D printers on it.

Work so well, I bought two sets.
I recently bought two audio/video carts at a local school auction to rehab them into work carts in my garage. None of the wheel locks worked so I found these casters and ordered 1 pair to try out in the smaller cart in the picture. After I got done painting the cart, I installed them after having to shorten the stems up a bit with my angle grinder (I knew I would have to do this when I ordered them) and not only do they look great, but the locks work perfectly and they are as smooth as butter working around my garage. I promptly ordered a second set for the taller cart, and once I was done painting that one, they had arrived. I again did the mods to the wheel stems and installed them. Can’t say enough about these on how well they look and work!

Could be perfect for you, wasnât for me
If one of the rubber inserts are really close to what you need sure it works great. For my purposes the smallest size rubber insert was the only one that would fit into the table leg. That being said it was on the upper end of the dims for that bushing. The bushing doesnât compress correctly when you have to tighten it to the upper end of the specs, without a washer the nut wants to bury in the rubber bushing making tightening it to the desired size impossible. Works as advertised
Put these on my swivel workbench stool. Added 4 inches in height and locks down for steady use. Had to use the 7/8 rubber for a 1 inch OD leg tube.

Exactly what I expected. They fit well into the tubes of my kitchen stainless tables. Making them portable. Takes a bit of finesse to get them tight but once tight they work well

They do not stay snug. Once you use the correct sleeve and tighten it down if required to make it a good snug fit for installation I to the hallow leg…then once pushed into the leg it is very difficult to tighten / snug up more. And even if you eventually are successful it does not stay snug.
