Perfect for homemade goodies
Perfect for packing homemade cookies and granola we make and gift. I love the top of the bag that can be heated to seal close giving the inside product a professional look and feel. We use a heat gun to hold close to the top and melt the sides together.

Not for Saving Seeds
I planned to use these for saving garden flower seeds. I’m giving these a good rating because they appear to be well made…no complaints there…but I probably won’t use them because they are not what I expected, but that is probably on me for ordering the wrong thing. First, they are completely lined with plastic, which maybe I should have known, but I thought they would have just a cellophane window, like some business envelopes or macaroni boxes. Seeds are best saved in paper envelopes. Second, they are too small. Not too small to hold a good quantity of seeds, but too small to conveniently use. When open, the top opening is way too small to remove the stuff within without just dumping everything out. Or maybe I’m just clumsy. Anyway, I was so happy to find these, with the zip-close top and (what I thought was) a cellophane window and the stand-up feature, but with the full plastic lining and small top opening…not sure I will use them. (I ordered the 3.5″ x 5.5″ size.)

Great craft bags!
Great craft bags. I use them to create simmer pots (natural stove top air fresheners). The window makes the ingredients easy to see the the durability of the bag holds up well in travel.

Best spice solution I’ve found
I live in an RV, and I couldn’t fit all my glass spice containers, but I really didn’t want to be limited to just a few seasonings, and my small pantry was a mess. I bought these and organized them in some Rubbermaid bins (10.9 cup size). Now I can fit 60 different spices and baking ingredients in a very small space, and when I want to season something, I just pull out the entire bin or bins rather than searching for the right jars. I feel like I would use these even if I had a bigger space now, because it’s so much more convenient for cooking. A tip is I put all my most used ingredients in one, so I normally only need to get that one.They don’t hold all that much, so I have all the excess stored elsewhere, but you can even take the empty ones to stores that have bulk spices and refill them directly at the store. I’ve often overbought spices in the past, so they weren’t as fresh, but this way I’ll get a much smaller amount at once, so they stay fresh, and I just replenish them when they run low.
