Do I need to connect the dash cam everytime? Can I use CarPlay/Bluetooth as usual?
You don’t need to keep camera connected as it will auto-record after car starts. You only need to connect the camera in the need of viewing or downloading video. No affect the normal use of CarPlay or Bluetooth
Where is the video stored? Can I view video anytime i want?
The video is auto-saved in SD card, not phone. 1. Only if you’ve downloaded footage to your phone in advance, you can watch it even off the car or remotely. 2. You can also watch it on computer by intserting sD card
With front 4k camera installed, can I add a rear cam separately?
NO, because the PCB boards are different between single front and dual version.
Is the dash cam featured with Parking Sensor? And is it 24h recording?
Not all FlTCAMX dash cams has parking sensor, you need extra harness to upgrade with this function. And there are 24h and non-24h recording option, please confirm with FlTCAMX for more details.
Why dash cam gets hot?
It’s normal situation but no worry. 1. The surrounding space of camera is small, and the original parts nearby will cause high temperature. 2. The camera is under windshield which is in direct sunlight by day.

Seamless finish – OEM appearance
I should take off more stars because like the other review in here said⦠there are no instructions. I was saved by the notes that individual left in their review and was able to install and setup in less than 30 mins.Other than that the fit and finish is perfect⦠looks OEM which I wasnât expecting to be able to achieve when I decided I wanted a dash cam.Another tip I would add would be to take everything apart on the mirror and sunroof button panel from the driver side and put everything back together from the passenger seat⦠you will have better access to the space where you shove the cord adapter from that side.The app is nice and easy to setup. Very similar to some home security cameras I have purchased from Amazon in the past. I havenât been in a crash yet but if it happens Iâll come back and let everyone know how the auto detection and stuff works!

Absolutely no instructions to install but once you get it, it works well.
So I had to give this 3 stars because of one reason: it was a PAIN IN THE BUTT to install. There are absolutely no instructions for Acura RDX specific installation. The video that is on the packaging is just a video for installing on generic Honda products, but in reality, the RDX has a completely different installation. To save you some time, basically, you have to use the pry tool to first remove the white dome light (skinny u shape). Ones that is off, the black part with the sunroof and lighting controls has 4 clips, no screws. All you have to remove is that black part by using pry tool on those 4 clips. The connector you need is on the back of that part, behind the sunroof controls. Do not try to pry out that whole sunglasses container like in the video, it doesnât apply to the RDX. Then for the mirror part, you take the black flap right above the mirror arm off with the pry tool first (there is a small indentation on the left side). That panel comes off, and then you can use your fingers to sort of pull up and the mirror part then comes off. There is a small hole between the sunroof controls compartment and the mirror compartment that you can route the camera wire through. There is hardly any space for the connector extension to fit nicely so you have to squeeze it in there when youâre putting everything back. Itâs crazy to me that they sold this without so much as even a written guide or diagram let alone a video specific to the RDX, so I literally had to figure all of this out myself. Anyway the quality of the camera is fine. App is fine, you use have to turn off CarPlay on your phone to connect to the camera wifi and thatâs that. Camera quality isnât anything special but it does the job. I appreciate how you canât tell itâs there, thatâs the whole appeal of this after all. Honestly if they just included better instructions for installation I would give this 4.5 stars.
