How to Use the Floor Gap Fixer?

Q: The suctions do not grip my floor, what can I do?
A: The suction cup is more effective on smooth clean surfaces. Can’t use on handscraped or textured surface floor.
There are some key points help you:
1. You should clean the floor and vacuum the gap before use.
2. Add a little moisture to the cups, then the suction will be stronger.
3. Need good pressure to get the right suction. Adding more downward pressure by kneeling on it or standing on it keeps it in place or putting some bodyweight on it while hitting it with the rubber mallet. This can help solve the “sliding issue”.
4. Use a rubber mallet instead of a metal hammer to knock.
The floor gap fixer can be used repair laminate floor gaps without removing, and don’ t worry about damaging the floor.
The suction cup made with heavy duty aluminum body and durable plastic handle. The suction pads constructed thickened natural rubber with strong suction. The maximum horizontal suction is 220lb and the maximum vertical suction is 176lb.

Suction Cups Are Very Good
The tools are functional and a great deal for $7.99âitâs like getting a free gap-fixer tool. While the mallet, which alone is worth around $7.99, the tools didnât work for my intended purpose of fixing a gap in my floors, that might have been due to user error. Regardless, I needed a better mallet, so I decided to keep it. Overall, the tools seem to be of good quality.

After a few years pass our LVP flooring installation, gaps started forming. I researched and found some youtube videos using this tool to close the gaps. It really works!One note if you have LVPs that have grooves or grains that will prevent the suction cups from really sticking to the floor. Buy a couple of silicon mats (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B7RGJP1R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) and then place this suction over it. I don’t know how the science works but that combo really does hold onto the floor board… and then just tap using the hammer and the gaps will close.

There is absolutely no suction.Would not recommend this product unless you are using it on a smooth untextured surface such as granite, quartz, marble, glass, etc.
