clean cutting
Worked great for my first laminate countertop install. Used it to trim of countertop-top to front edge. Bit of coconut oil for lube smeared on the laminate and didn’t have any trouble with marring at all. Do recommend for sure getting the depth dialed in on a scrap piece though. Too deep and it will skim the face of the edge, too little and it will leave a lip.

A Simple Good Bit
This cleans up edges and makes them less likely to catch on things. This is a pretty simple bit – no bearing to wear out or have to lubricate.

Perfect for laminate trimming
This worked perfectly for my laminate countertop. I literally tried everything to trim the corners and nothing worked until I found this! I’m so happy

No more touch ups
Seriously does what it was made to do. No more messy filing with laminate files and sandpapers. Awesome bit to have in your arsenal.

Poor quality
Purchased several and they didnât last a day. Each one only lasted a few minutes.

Works well enough, but the “bearing” end of the bit can mar laminate if it’s 90 degrees to the surface you want to trim.

Worked awesome on laminate counters
I used this to trim the top laminate surface of a new countertop. I used a “standard” 3-flute carbide cutter with bearing for trimming the front face, and sides because I did not want the edges to have the 7° cut that this cutter makes. For trimming the top though, this worked great in 1 pass, moving pretty quickly. As others have mentioned, you probably do NOT want to move too slow, otherwise you might burn the work where this rubs against the other face. Some people apply soap to help, but I did not see any issue.

Worked quite well
I used this bit to trim some laminate today and it worked quite well. I like the fact that there is no bearing. One reviewer pointed out that the “bearing” surface has potential to mar the laminate. I first applied and trimmed the side pieces, then applied the top laminate. Before trimming the top I rubbed some Gulf Wax on the sides to act as a lubricant/protectant and got no marring. Would buy this bit again.

I bought this product to test it out on laminate edges. Iâve done a lot of filing and wanted to eliminate most because of the repetition and how itâs affecting my shoulder. This product is the problem solver. I use a flush trim bit with a smaller bearing to remove the bulk of material. I then follow it up with his product set at just the right depth to chamfer the edges and leave a beautiful, smooth edge that requires zero filing.

se debe poner una protección en el material que tiene acabado para que no se dañe, como cinta maskin u otro. pero el funcionamiento del producto es muy bueno. corta muy bien.
