Great for Staying Connected to PetsâEven Calms Them Down
I got this for my daughters who are away at college and missing our dogsâand they absolutely love it. Itâs been such a sweet way for them to still feel involved in our pupsâ lives, even from far away.We ended up putting regular kibble in the treat dispenser because the girls were so excited, they kept triggering it nonstop! It shoots treats out with good power and timing, and plays a bird noise to let you know itâs about to release a treat, which is honestly kind of funny to watch. One surprise feature I didnât realize it had was the calming music that plays when the dogs bark. It actually works better than I expectedâour anxious one seems to settle down more quickly now.Setup was super easy and only took a few minutes. All in all, itâs a fun and functional gadget thatâs made a real difference for both the dogs and the humans. Highly recommend.

Perfect babysitter for your pet
The camera quality is amazing, even at night. The treat dispenser is also a lot of fun to use while we’re away. Excellent product for the price and we even got a mini Furbo for free with a one year subscription. Super easy to set up too. The 2 way audio also makes it possible to talk to your pet. We highly recommend Furbo for everyone with indoor pets.

We are loving this camera! Came quick, was VERY easy to set up and get going. The app has a lot of great tools and very easy to use. Compatible with our phones, night vision is great too! Overall – very happy with this purchase and highly recommend!

Thank you Furbo
This is a great product, it works very well and save our puppy, Daisy. Daisy is 4 months old and I recently started a new job, so my husband and grandson who work a little closer to our home, went home to let Daisy out to go potty. I had received a notification that Daisy was running around, so when I checked the Furbo – I noticed that the front door was open (our Grandson forgot to shut it) and then I checked our outside cameras and noticed that the back gate was also left open, we have Life360 and I had seen that my husband was away from home. So I called him and he was able to get someone from his work to get to our house and make sure Daisy was inside and shut the door and gate. Thank the good Lord above for keeping our Daisy safe and Furbo for alerting us .

Updated: I bought 2 of these 1.5 years apart, with sub. App could use work but the camera is great
UPDATE NOV 2020: I bought another one (when it was on sale for about 40% off, I would not pay full price if planning on using without premium features – Furbo’s premium bundle may be a cheaper option if you are willing to shell out the full price) about a year and a half after my first purchase as I had to leave my first one behind in a different country when I returned home due to COVID conditions. The first time around I had the premium subscription feature, but this time I decided I only need the treat tossing and camera feature so I am currently using it on regular features. While I was on the sub, they would periodically send surveys asking things like which features would you like, how much would you be willing to pay for these features, etc. They have since taken away many of the free features and added them to the sub so obviously the rest of their clientelle is richer than I am. But they did keep the basics which is what I need so I am okay with that so far. Free feature comes with the camera (+ audio), treat tossing, voice recording to play when tossing a treat, and barking alerts. Premium features more or less make the Furbo into a security camera (person alert, alarm alert, etc.) which was useful for me on the first one because I lived on my own (it would let me know when apartment management came by to do maintenance while I wasn’t home, etc.) but not so much anymore because we have a separate security camera system at my current place. The product has not changed much (the app has updated – keep reading for app review), the camera is still great, 1080p with great night vision. Functionality has not changed either, I am using Zuke’s brand training treats and it tosses out 3-5 at a time (they are 2 calories each so this is a good amount). I do not have Alexa connected to the new one so I don’t know how much improvement there has been for that. The issue I had with the app is connecting the new device. The green light indicating the device was on connection mode was on but the app would do nothing when I pressed next. I spoke to the live chat help within the app but it crashed when I attempted to upload a photo of the device serial number as they requested and couldn’t get back into the chat room again. They then contacted me by e-mail to follow up (good customer service on that end, though I fixed the issue on my own by then). The issue was that the app asks you for permission to access location when setting up first, but if you click on “only this time” instead of “all the time” the app will not respond for whatever reason. It connected properly once I gave it location access for “all the time” (I took away the permission after set up and it works fine without it). One star off for that this time because app needs some troubleshooting. I did not have many issues with the app prior to the update. Also I recorded the same thing I had on the first camera to play when tossing a treat and my dog still recognizes it (:——FIRST REVIEW AUG 2019:I bought this camera after doing a lot of research on other pet cameras. I specifically wanted one that could do wifi streaming, treat tossing, and Alexa capability. It does all those things plus night vision quality is great, but like some other reviewers mentioned Alexa does not work correctly so one star off for that (but that could also be an Alexa specific thing, as she has trouble with some of my other appliances). I mainly use it to keep an eye on my 9 month old pup who likes to eat my chairs while I’m gone to class and on my 1 month old Roomba that likes to chase her around. Works great for that purpose and night vision quality is great, much better than I originally anticipated. Treat tossing is good too, at first I used kibbles but it shoots out a lot at once so I switched to larger treats broken into pieces. My pup learned very quickly that my voice coming from it means cookies. It also doubles as a security camera with person detection. Also the daily diary videos are a hoot! I look forward to watching them every day (:

Has brought us peace of mind and so much fun!
I have 2 young cats and so wish I wouldâve bought the Furbo a long time ago. We travel a lot and while we have pet sitters come in, I wanted to be able to keep an eye on them between the visits. We also go on a lot of day trips where we donât have a sitter and this helps me keep an eye on them. It had been brilliant for that, but Iâve been most happily surprised by how much I use it day to day otherwise. It sends me alerts when my cats are up to mischief as well (ahem, chewing on things they shouldn’t). I canât always be there to intercept, but what does work is me having the Furbo shoot a treat out to them to distract them. They are young males and sometimes play too rough with each other (I get those alerts, too haha). Once again, a timely treat delivered interrupts them enough to calm things down. Itâs also fun to talk to them and get messages with their cute little selfies! It was incredibly easy to set up and does a fantastic job at alerting me to their specific activity. The sticky pads it comes with are great! They havenât been able to knock it down or break into the treats which is saying something with these two clever boys!

Spotty coverage
Fun! Keeps losing connection but otherwise no issues.

This is an outstanding device, absolutely love the treat tosser! It launches treats high and far, which keeps my dogs entertained. The 360° camera offers excellent coverage, and the ability to talk to your dogs remotely is incredibly reassuring. One unexpected but amazing feature is the smart alerts. I had no idea it would notify me when my dog is barking, and even better, it automatically records during those moments, so I can review the footage later. It’s been a game changer for peace of mind! The only difficulty I had was setting up a UK account with the app because the default is the United States.

La tuve que regresar por que resido en México y la de gatos todavÃa no funciona en México, pero luego luego compré una de perros, ¡LAS AMO!

Furbo Dog camera is a great product. Video quality is very good. I was happily surprised with the image quality in low light situations (i.e. night vision). The quality of the audio coming through the device microphone could be improved. The audio coming from the device’s speakers is good quality. The camera was easy to setup, and the app is very intuitive, and device-phone pairing is easy.Tossing treats is fun, but the system is a little bit unreliable for tossing one treat. Thus, sometimes it toss multiple treats (60% of the time), and sometimes it does not toss any (30% of the time). I would recommed the product.
Kitty Cat –
This needs to be connected to a good wifi connection to work – so either upgrade your internet or make sure your connection is good. I had a poor connection at first so I fixed that and had no issues from there! The quality is amazing! The video is so clear and I can toss treats to my cat. The only downside is the speaker will echo very loud. I may just need to turn it down to a very quiet level and Iâm sure it will be fine. It stays on and alerts me when my cat is active. I wish you could remove the logo and time stamps off the screenshots and videos you can record. This kind of sucks if you want to use the content for social media websites, etc. Itâs missing a laser pointer in my opinion! Would be great if they made a new model with that feature! Also it does shoot out quite a bit of treats so Iâd suggest maybe mixing some regular fry cat food in with the treats so you can use it more often! 🙂 It does track people too and it updates you on your phone for any noises and such. Unfortunately it doesnât pick up on the animals outside the window but itâs meant for a cat anyways. Itâs a bonus you can use it as a security camera for people though! 🙂 I also like that they create a daily video of all the best moments of your cat that you can save. Itâs fun to see what my cat gets up to! Highly suggest this product!

Positive points:I bought this to give myself some peace of mind while I am away from home. It definitely does that. My dogs recognise when it is in use as the light changes from yellow to blue (colours dogs can see). They usually look up immediately when I turn it on to watch them, even if I don’t activate the microphone or dispense any treats. They quickly learned to recognise the noise it makes to signal that treats are coming and come to get them very eagerly. They also seem to recognise my voice when I speak to them through the microphone and will obey commands I give them. The night vision camera is great for low light conditions and often gives a clearer view than the normal camera, even during the day.The Furbo takes their regular kibble as well as various different brands of treats, so long as they are in small pieces. The unit looks easy to clean and the mechanism hasn’t jammed once after dispensing treats hundreds of times now.I love that I can take photos and videos of my dogs and some of the things they get up to when they think I can’t see them. I just wish I could show them the photo evidence of them caught sitting on the sofa! The barking alerts work well. They are sent promptly and let me check in and decide if I want to speak to the dogs or dispense treats to distract them. It ignores the gruff and growly noises my dogs make when they are just playing nicely together and only picks up and alerts me to a “genuine” bark.Negative points:It took a while to get this set up properly as the Furbo unit wouldn’t maintain a good connection with my router despite it being in direct line of sight and only about three metres away. My phone showed a full wifi signal where I had located the Furbo. The customer services team were excellent. Very helpful and prompt with their replies. After a firmware update and then resetting the Furbo and connecting again it has been much better. I bought a wifi signal booster hoping that would give me 100% reliability for the connection. It is still a bit unstable, but is now good about 95% of the time.At first I could only use the app while I was also at home and using wifi (it wouldn’t connect using mobile data at all – I am on EE). This was a bit pointless. However, after the firmware update and resetting the unit, it now connects perfectly over mobile data so I can keep an eye on my dogs while I am away from home.My dogs would destroy the Furbo unit if they could reach it to get to the treats inside, so I have placed it on a high bookcase. This works well but would be vastly improved if it were possible to tilt the camera downwards. As it is, I have had to tip the whole unit forwards and wedge a block under the base so that it gives a good view of the room. The wide angle is great, but when it is located up as high as I need to have it, I can’t see the floor (which is where my dogs are most of the time – or at least, where they are supposed to be but the sofa is obviously so much more comfortable!) without tipping it forwards. With the Furbo unit in this tilted position it is a little bit unstable and doesn’t fire the treats out so well. It still does, but they tend to just spill or dribble out rather than shoot forwards as they do when it is sitting level. It also gives out far more treats in this tilted position so I am going through them too quickly. As it is not possible to fill the unit with many treats to begin with, this is a problem. There is a slight delay on the camera so it is not ideal for talking to the dogs and timing my words to their behaviour and reactions, but the delay is only about a second so it is not a major issue.Overall, I absolutely love my Furbo. It was expensive but the peace of mind is has given me on the occasions I have needed to leave my dogs at home has been worth it. One dog in particular suffers from separation anxiety and she seems to take comfort from hearing my voice occasionally. Of course, I can’t be sure she recognises it is me speaking, but she recognises her name and some basic commands so it distracts her from whatever she is doing or feeling for a few moments at least.Even with my few criticisms, I would still give this 5 stars.
