Purrrrfect for Pet Monitoring When You’re Away!
I bought this pet camera to use while I was out of town, and Iâm so glad I did! Itâs a game-changer for pet owners who want to stay connected with their furry friends while away.The camera quality is great, and the night vision is a huge bonus. The two-way speaker allows me to talk to my cat, Milo, which is such a fun feature. I can even hear him meowing, and it helps ease my mind knowing I can check in on him whenever I want. Not this camera. It allows me to see my dogs from my bedroom. I also have one in my living area. The camera quality is great. Itâs very clear. You can see everything and for the price. It makes it even more amazing. Definitely recommend youâre an anxious animals at home or you just wanna keep an eye on them And Iâve had mine for over a year now and it works great.

Update 2 months later: Do not buy this. This company is scum. This is a cheap camera. Because of that I dealt with the cheap top, the software that doesn’t do a great job at letting you automate when it is on/off, but when I pay for a sub only to get ads which cover the use options? So that I’m forced to view this garbage to use the app even though I paid for a year sub in advance? Well your company is garbage and you are scummy people.——————————I’m not sure what to think. The camera seems pretty good. I put my pets into it and it doesn’t seem to know the difference and just goes with a name even if not the correct pet. I wouldn’t say it’s very smart based on that. The “wooden” top just falls off. What is the point in that? Maybe I received a refurbished one, but I don’t see the point in it or why I would want to mount it on a wall in case that falls off.The positives are there is a 30 day trial of the subscription and you don’t have to give your credit card info – so your sub will just end if you don’t pay. It does have options so you can turn on or off human detection and other modes of detection like when you cat goes to the litter box. Many of these are sound detection and not vision I think.When you pet walks around while the camera is on it will zoom in on them if you are watching live. I did not notice it doing this on playback so far. It does require some training and will ask to verify what your pet was doing or add it if not an option. The video can be adjusted up to 1080P or lower quality if desired.And last, this will only work with the USB hub style of plug provided. I have a wall plug-in that accommodates USB-C to USB-C cables. It would not come on with this even though it charges and powers my tablets and multiple other devices. I had to find a USB-A plug to put the accompanying cable into for it to power on.

Worth it! Get the name brand!
Never thought I needed a name brand Furbo when I had regular security cams, but this is so good. I love its descriptions telling me what my girl is up to and its daily reports. Wish the barking notifications had more settings because I want to know sometimes but not constantly, but otherwise so great. Camera quality is great! Bought two because I loved the first so much. So easy to set up too!

BUYER BEWARE: Love these devices, unfortunately kind of a scam
**If you already have a Furbo and Nanny subscription and are looking to buy an extra device, please read this.***I never write reviews but Iâm riled up, so I want to save anyone else getting an additional device from this spiral of insanity. I consider myself a pretty tech-savvy person, but this entire process has left my mind boggled.You need to buy the STAND ALONE mini-cam with limited features, not the Nanny version. It is strictly subscription based and will not work AT ALL unless you buy an entire additional plan for each device. They do not make this clear.I wanted the new Furbo mini in addition to the full-sized cat camera I already have, to cover some blindspots in my apartment. I personally was excited they were offering a smaller version of the device.Upon connecting my device, I wasnât able to utilize any of the extra features that I have on my larger device. I needed to upgrade my plan to Nanny Pro to add more devices. Which, fine.However, they were trying to get me to buy ANOTHER plan purely because I accidentally bought the âsubscription basedâ device that will ONLY work if you buy another subscription. It doesnât matter if you already have a plan.On top of that, buying directly from Furbo will also give you a free Furbo mini with your upgraded subscription – which isnât really advertised. So I actually have no need for this subscription-based device.They have made everything purposefully confusing and also impossible to return it or even amend your plan. When you chat with a live agent on their site, they take forever to respond and do everything in their power (a million questions, ending the chat, asking for more photos, proof of purchase) to not make you return it. Two hours later, I managed to get a return label after one agent tried to get me to pay an activation fee + $6.99 a month. I already have a plan.I actually really like the device and the app. Itâs AI features become smarter over time, and will be able to tell me exactly what my pet is doing without me opening the app. It lets me know when my pet is active and records activity up to 24-hr, so I donât constantly have to check the live feed to know whatâs going on.I personally donât mind paying $79 a year, because most other cameras wind up charging you a subscription or for cloud storage anyway, and they donât have these features.But if I didnât like it so much â this honestly would be going back altogether.Save yourself the headache and just order the device WITHOUT the subscription from Amazon. I thought I was being smart and saving money by purchasing via Furbo, but it costs you in the long-run. I have all the smart features on both devices with my Nanny Pro plan.It is overall a good device and I will continue to use both of them, but their business model is questionable at best.
