YOUR SEARCH FOR A TOTALLY NATURAL BRISTLE TOOTHBRUSH IS OVER!
Gaia Guy knew our zero waste customers and friends wanted a truly planet-based solution. Let’s face it as nice as nylon is we don’t need to use to brush our teeth. Boar bristles have been used for centuries and are still used in many brushes so it just makes sense to use these hygienic and less abrasive natural fiber bristles. The bristles are either sheared and used or often are saved from the landfill after boars have been dispatched for meat purposes. You are saving these natural boar hair bristles from creating methane gases. Thank you!

► A solid, smooth and gorgeous piece of bamboo. Not laminate so no glue here.
► Boar bristles also contain no glue and a stuck straight into the handle.
► Paper packaging which is compostable, recyclable and totally reusable so give it another life.
Finally a way to start and finish your day without dreading the inevitable plastic discard that comes every few months with regular toothbrushes. Get your Bamboo & Boar Bristle Toothbrush 6-pack today.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a totally natural product and as such it doesn’t act like plastic toothbrushes. As you can see from the feedback, some bristles come out as the natural bamboo brush is getting sort of set to climate and moisture.
Bamboo expands in humid air and can then contract when it gets dry. Do not buy if you aren’t able to simply remove a few bristles from your mouth that may fall out. However, if you can stay the sustainable course and keep brushing then it seems to find a balance and you can brush away as vigorously as you like.

For those who want a totally planet-based product to go with their zero waste and sustainable lifestyle. Actually this paper-tube is a handy little pencil case or get creative and reuse! No non-woven packaging either these are just 6 beautiful boar bristle toothbrushes in a paperboard tube.
BEAUTIFUL BOAR BRISTLES: A truly sustainable way to brush your teeth. These natural boar bristle toothbrushes come from a special breed of boar. The bristles are carefully harvested and then boiled to make them straighter and super hygienic.
CLEAN & GREEN: These are less abrasive than nylon bristles which means your teeth get clean but you don’t ruin your tooth enamel. These black bristles are about the same as medium nylon toothbrush as far as firmness goes. You get a good cleaning while not scratching or hurting your gums. Gaia Guy’s Bamboo and Boar bristle natural toothbrush will not only make your smile better, but the planet better too.
Customers say
Customers appreciate that this toothbrush is a great plastic-free alternative, with good bristles and effective cleaning performance. Moreover, the bristles get softer with use and the toothbrush works well. However, durability receives mixed feedback – while some say it holds up well, others find it too flimsy. Additionally, the bristle quality and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some finding it worth the price while others consider it poor.

Good brush, but sheds
June 2020:Pro: The handle is very comfortable The bristles are not soft, more hard/medium. Bristles get softer with time. Teeth feel well brushed.Con: The bristles shed and spread out early. It seems that the bristles won’t last long. This is my first time using a Boar Bristles, so I’m not sure if this is normal.April: 2021:I have used all of the brushes. The pack lasted me 10 months. I changed the brush about every 2 months, instead of the plastic 3 month because the bristles do wear down more than the plastic alternative. This should be expected: it is made of hair, not plastic. Each new brush does shed during the first use, but considering that the product is biodegradable and prevents yet another plastic brush entering the landfill, it’s worth a couple hairs in my mouth. Honestly, some brushes shed one hair and others shed four. It’s a minor nuisance. I purchased another pack and plan to use them moving forward because they are good quality. As far as I know, this is the only toothbrush that is completely compostable.Note: I went to the dentist last month and was praised for my oral health. Prior to the boar brushed, I used a cheap electric toothbrush. I’ve always taken care of my teeth, but this was one of the few times I was complemented by a dental professional. These brushes paired with eco friendly floss have helped me maintain my oral health just as well (if not better) than plastic products.

Nice product, plesently surprised
I like these toothbrushes, they are “cool” because they haven’t fell apart and they have softened up a bit. I think I’ve been using them about a month now. Only a few bristles fell out. Not anything to really mention but for what it’s worth it no biggie. By not using plastic. It’s a win win. Im excited about it, and I would like to gift this to some folks, but who knows if they understand about microplastics. I understand, and there’s my review. Good stuff.

Brushing with a peace of mind
Congratulations! If you come across this review – it must mean that you are making a conscious effort towards a healthier life and I’m so happy for you! There are some pros and cons with this toothbrush so I’ll give you a little bit of the things I have noticed, but overall – I’m very happy with my purchase. On the initial use, you will have some hairs coming off. Which I think is expected since it’s real hair and not synthetic. BUT after the first use I have not noticed any more falling off.Second thing, the brush part of it is a little tiny. Not extraordinary tiny but could use a one/two rows or columns or one row and one column of extra bristles to make it the PERFECT brush. Other than that it brushes impeccably great.I’m not sure what your toothbrush preferences are and how you like certain things, but for me what I’ve noticed is that I’ve fallen in love with this toothbrush. Not only can I brush my teeth with it, use it to scrape my tongue, but I also noticed how much more of a peaceful mind I have now that I’m using real natural things instead of the synthetic plastics that leech into our blood streams. Making the decision to buy this brush has been a great experience for me and I hope it will be for you too.Lets make Natural Brushes the normal standard for toothbrushes and toss out those petroleum-made, plastic-made, toothbrushes that are unhealthy for you.

I liked em, I’m pleasantly surprised.
I liked this brush very surprised after reading other reviews. No stray bristles falling off not nearly as hard and uncomfortable as my sonicare bristles. Some bristles may feel slightly sharp at first with the brand new brush but its effective. The wood handle is smooth I didn’t experience any discomfort with the wood rubbing my cheek. The bristles only splay and spread out if you press way too hard. Don’t brush angry!

Great plastic free toothbrushes
Really like these toothbrushes. Went through a whole pack and the bristles only came off of a few of them, and even then it didn’t bother me, and was mostly in the first couple of uses. It’s hard to remember not to press too hard, otherwise they get worn out and splayed faster, but I really like them. My teeth and gums seems healthier since using them and I love the idea that fewer microplastics are entering my system. At first, my gums bled a little with use (but are very sensitive) but now hardly bleed from anything (like flossing– although I have also been flossing more), meaning they’ve gotten more resilient through the use of these. I hope they’re biodegradable because I’ve been composting them

Work but lose bristles
I think they are ecologically ok and do a good job on the teeth but bristles keep falling out which annoys the crap out of me.

You should try them!
These are my favorite natural toothbrushes ever. Will definitely purchase again. Theyâre on the softer side, but not too soft. Value for money is great.

Happy I switched to these 100% plastic free brushes
I like how they feel! Holding it is very comfortable – itâs lightweight and easy to handle. The bristles arenât too hard, but arenât too soft either, they feel good on the gums and teeth. Theyâre also a good size, and make it easy to get hard to reach spots in the back too. Your mouth feels clean/good after use! I took one star off because the first time you brush your teeth with them, you can expect at least a few loose bristles to come off into your mouth. Besides that first time though, they stay in and feel great to brush with! You get a good price for how many you get – and they last a while before you need to replace it – in which you have several backups/new ones to use per order which is amazing! Overall, very pleased with these toothbrushes and am glad to no longer have to use synthetic bristles.

Arrived more than a week earlier than scheduled, so full marks to the seller. Everything was in order. The product itself, fully satisfied. Wood and bristles, simple as. Tried it immediately. Head a little smaller than I’m usually used to but you adapt. Bristles are not rough at all and did their job. Easy to clean and use, and no (known) harmful ingredients. Will get another once they’re near used up (6 toothbrushes and you can use each for up to 5-8 weeks, so one pack lasts a long while).

Sometimes the bristles do come out and I feel them in my mouth, but itâs not really a problem considering these are natural and great for the environment. The bristles are not plastic so I donât feel disgusted.
