Works Great.
Great for whites that are normally a bit difficult to work with. Slab it on, then go back and clean up. Works great for storm trooper armor as well.

One of the better contrast paints
This is one of my faves from the contrast lines. I love using this and manipulating it with mixing in a bit more medium to lighten the color a bit more to fit my objective.

Good for a very specific application
Do not believe the image for the product, this is basically a gray wash with a slight blue tone. With the White Scar rattlecan primer, you’re mostly getting your white from the primer. This is supposed to use the satin finish of the Contrast primers and run off to the edges to shade, which it will only sort of do on a matte primer. I’ve decided to use it for an underpaint over a matte zenithal prime, and paint Corax White over it. It does run a bit still on matte primer, so it makes for some interesting variation in your color, but if you were hoping for an actual white paint, you definitely need the White Scar Contrast primer (be sure it’s the new satin one, not the old matte one!).

The name of this contrast is definitively misleading, but it very rare to find a off-white to white contrast, this does a good job when the base is lighter and it shades well and gradually.

I mean, it’s not white
I generally really like Contrast paints, and this has the same easy application, fills textured contours well.But it’s not white. It’s gray, a gray wash at best. It’ll work for some detail work, but it makes any surface you put it over *darker* which was definitely not my intention
