Love them!
I love how I can turn both of my lamps on at the same time. Don’t really need the colors but it’s novel once in a while. Also love how I can easily dim them both the same level at the same time and that they don’t need wi-fi. They work well!

Quite Colorful
These are pretty awesome. I like the colors and the ability to be dimmed with a single remote across multiple bulbs. I don’t know how long they will last, but for now, they are lighting up my life.

The best red light option!
A must have for newborn parents! I put the bulb in my nightstand stamp and leave it on the entire night on the red light option on the lowest setting. Could not go a night without these bulbs!

Lights look great- remote battery was bad
These lights look fantastic. I ordered 2 sets, and one of the remotes did not work at all. I removed the CR2025 battery and tested it: 3.3 volts, so it should have worked. Put the battery back in and it still didn’t work. I then put a new Energizer CR2032 battery in. The 2032 is thicker than the 2025, with a higher capacity. The remote started working. Not sure if the added thickness allowed it to make contact or what, but at least I didn’t have to send it back. I do feel like they owe me a battery, though. One other remote note: be sure you are pointing it in the right direction, with the color buttons at the bottom. You also have to get pretty close (6 feet?) from the bulb and point directly at it, at least in the recessed cans I have mine in.The colors look amazing, and the white light is much more pleasant than the standard soft white GE LEDs I had in there previously. I’m guessing that these lights are more full spectrum for better color. One star removed for the remote hassle.

Change the Battery!
I just received my first set, and my remote wouldn’t work. But then I remembered, a previous post, about the battery. I forgot who the author was, but I can confirm that the remote requires a CR2032 battery to work properly (not the CR2025 included). I just happened to have a spare (from Dollar Tree). Also, I put the bulbs into a pair of 1970s Gilbert mushroom lamps, and the remote works through their plastic shades (all functions). And I’ll be buyin’ more to replace some dead smart bulbs.

Great colors and brightness
I use these in a torchiere lamp that requires two light bulbs – one for top and one for side/reading light. Colors are great and emit a good amount of light. White lights are really bright and dimmable. Colors have good brightness too and are also dimmable. I can’t use two different colors with the remote since the remote controls both bulbs at the same time, but that is fine for my use.

Now I see why it’s a FREQUENTLY RETURNED ITEM.
Maybe clueless, but I thought I was getting a bulb to use in a lamp without the lamp being plugged in. That was my whole point. I have lamps that I want to use but are not near an outlet. So I plugged in the lamp, turned it on, and as other reviewers have said, the remote did not work. I’m gonna assume that the battery was put in incorrectly or is just dead. I really wanted a bulb that did not depend on wifi for charging. I don’t have and don’t want a smart home. I must not have read the reviews before purchasing, just trusting the GE brand. Especially should have noticed FREQUENTLY RETURNED ITEM. Back it goes. PS Does anyone have a remote-operated bulb to recommend that WOULD meet my needs? Thx.

The remote works for me
The remote works fine for mine, though it didn’t at first. Had me a little worried, but it started working suddenly. Quite a few options for colors and everything.

Colors work good. Brightness perfect for what I need. Alexa connection didn’t try yet. Longevity don’t know yet. Remote control doesn’t work until I put it right under the bulb and this will be reason to try some other bulb.
