A mini-pc that checks all of my requirements
I’ve been using the 13th Gen Geekom mini PC for a couple weeks. For context, my use case is a plex server in addition to a living room PC that will do normal tasks and maybe some light gaming.Speed: â¡â¡â¡â¡â¡This device is fast. It’s small, but packs a mean punch. I haven’t ran benchmarks, but it’s really not needed. 13th Gen i7, 32 GB of dual channel memory, and an NVME drive. Also it has great IO, all in a tiny form factor PC. Technology has come a long way. My custom built gaming rig that I replaced (6700k, old system I repurposed) is completely destroyed by this, while using less power and less space. I’m using a DAS to connect hot swappable drives to this, and it works a treat.Ease of Setup: ðððððSetting up this system is easy. It comes with Windows 11 pro pre-installed, and it’s plug and play. Even for someone not a tech wizard, the setup is very simple.Form Factor: ðððððTalk about a sleek and stylish design! It’s small. You can fit it pretty much anywhere. They include a wall mount as well, which is great. From what I can tell, the compact design doesn’t compromise on performance, making it a great addition to any one’s collection.Value for the Money: ð°ð°ð°ð°ð°In terms of bang for your buck, this product is solid. I think it’s one of the better values out there in the mini-pc world. As someone who almost always builds a computer because it’s often cheaper, and of course I get to pick my components, I was very pleased with this. Building a tiny pc can be a pain, and I have forgotten how nice it is to just have a computer that’s ready to go. They also include a 3-year warranty, and this comes with windows 11 pro. I think its priced very competitively, given the specs.A note about gaming: the integrated GPU these come with is called Intel XE. They have QuickSync which is great for things like Plex, but also, they can be used for some gaming applications. It isn’t a powerhouse, but can definitely do things. It’d be perfect for games that you play during get togethers that are often not graphically demanding. Even at lower settings, more demanding games can be played, though you may not get consistent/best frame rates when compared to real gaming systems. However, there’s some youtube videos out there that will tell you what to expect, just google 13th gen intel xe graphics gaming and make sure you look at the 13th systems. As a point of reference, this setup in another system ran Cyberpunk 2077, at 1080P, ESS balanced, lowest settings, and averaged around 33 FPS. That game is a resource hog. Overwatch 2 at 1080P, low preset, was around 70 FPS average. Again, not a gaming system, but can definitely do some light gaming. This PC has definitely worked well for my needs , and think it’s a great offering from Geekom.

No more huge towers! This is well made and it works great!
I needed to upgrade an old clunky Lenovo tower with an old i5 and 12mB of RAM. After toiling for weeks, I pulled the trigger and bought this computer. I was anxious – this was not the traditional desktop computer I had bought many times in the past. But it seemed to have all the features I wanted. I spent time on YouTube watching reviews. Most rated it as a gaming computer. I don’t game. I just wanted a reliable, fast and state of the art computer. I got it!!When it came, I was astounded at the small size, but man, was it easy to get it operating! I literally took it out of the box, plugged it in, plugged in all my USB peripherals, my 4K 35″ monitor and hit the start button. It took probably 15 min. before it downloaded updates, etc. and then it performed great. Here’s my take:1. SPEED – for me, it’s killer!! I don’t game but for any regular application and the web, it’s lightning! Applications and files load quickly. This i7 and 32gbs of RAM ROCK!2. VIDEO – SUPERB. Everything is clear and sharp at 4K.3. SOUND – very important to me…the sound card or whatever that’s embedded in this thing is superb. Crisp, clear, high fidelity, AWESOME.4. Lots of USB/HDMI and other hookups. State of the art for me…everything works great – wifi, BT, etc.5. LOOKS – well built, and it’s really tiny!!!6. HEAT – it spews out some warmth from the built in fan, but nothing bad. If you’re near it, you can hear the internal fan kick into high gear now and then, but not an issue for me – it’s pretty quiet, even if close to me. Seems the same on heat output as my old Lenovo tower. All in all, I am impressed and happy. I just hope it stays reliable and lasts for me.

No regrets
This is my first Mini PC and was nervous bc I havenât ever had a GEEKOM before or even heard of it before, but I am impressed.I got the 32MB RAM version but planned to expand to 64MB but after using it for several months, I donât see the need to upgrade because it goes plenty fast as is and it said that it supports 4 monitors because that is how many ports are available, but I added my Dell dock to it and I am running 4 high def monitors and one regular one with no issues. I may add another if I have ports on my doc.I love the tiny size. For me, it works better than a laptop because it is small enough to fit in my huge purse and can hook up to the monitors at the office or at home. On the go, I can take along my portable monitor and BT keyboard mouse and go.I am so very happy with this purchase. It was a steal and left me with zero buyerâs remorse.

Get your Geekom!
Great price for everything in this tiny package! I love this machine. It’s fast and runs smoothly. It does get a little warm but that’s kind of expected when you’re working it hard and there’s not room for a larger internal fan. I do have a issue occasionally when the image on the screen goes to multicolor static look, but I just replug in the HDMI cable and it’s gone for another month. I do have 3 other video output options so I’m not too worried. I’ve opted to bring this, a mouse and keyboard on trips and us provided TVs. It worked pretty well, but I do think a laptop is better. Also this thing looks cool and can mount to the back of a monitor that supports vesa mounting. This way you can hide it and get it up off the desk altogether.

Great machine at a bargain price !
Amazingly speedy computer.. starts and closes Windows 11 in less than 3 seconds each. Excellent video output, really brings my monitor to life with bright, clean colors. Programs load quickly and everything I’ve thrown at it runs spectacularly… I;m very impressed with this GeekOM i9 Machine. Note that in this 2005 series model the power consumption is only 45 watts rather than 90 watts from the older i9 GeekOM computers. Runs cool all the time, no fan noise noticeable. A real bargain and it fits in your hand.
