Iâve purchased 22 Geeni WiFi plug-in outlets of various models inclusive of single, double, 4-switch, several 6-switch outlet strips, and 2 outdoor models as well. They work very well and reset when power goes down. That being said, the only issue Iâve had is due to Spectrum internet constantly dropping which gave two of my Geeni units problems with missed on/off times. Since Iâve switched to Alta fiber 1Gb service with 4 Amazon Eeros mesh 6e units. The combination of eeros with fiber allows for a seamless operation with zero problems. The better your network, the stronger consistent symmetrical up/down use with no throttling back. I highly recommend the Geeni & Eeros products. Iâve not been paid for this review, this is on my own perceptions of everyday use. Alta Fiber also uses Eeros routers for their customer based service installs.

Great addition to home automation setup. App could be better.
I live alone in South Florida, and have integrated 2 of these plugs into my smart home setup. One I use to control a window AC unit for my small enclosed patio. Was able to combine with a smart thermometer that uses a different app. The automation I programmed in the smart life app from the thermometer has it acting as a thermostat for the AC… too hot and it switches on, switches off when desired temp is reached. The other plug I use to control a lamp so I can see when I get through the front door at night. My only gripe is with the geeni app… I tried to automate it so the lamp turns on when I arrive home, but this GPS feature only works if your phone is unlocked and the app is actively running. GPS feature doesn’t work if app is only running in background. It’s a minor gripe for sure, I’m just lazy and don’t want to have to unlock my phone and start the app to turn the light on. Other than that, all features work flawlessly and they were super easy to set up. Will be integrating more into my setup in the near future.

Good plug with a good app to work with
I like Geeni indoor and outdoor plugs as my standard. They work well, last a long time (haven’t had an indoor one fail yet) and their app is really easy to use.

Does what it is supposed to do.
So I actually have 3 of these gems running fans in the house. I have them set up as a cluster in the app so that when an event triggers then it turns all the fans on at the same time.For example, when the temperature outside hits 75°F it triggers the fans to turn on automatically and when the temp drops below 68°F and it is 11:30PM it will shut them off.The app could use some improvement as the timer function is kind of weird when you use it for more than one device.There are some issues where deciphering the state that is implied with the timers.Using location services is only good for where the devices are located. It will not update the location of where your at so you can’t automate turning devices on/off based on your location (in my experience).The devices them selves are easy to use, however IoT devices do have some security issues that are being addressed but you should be aware that they are not a big deal.Overall, they are a good value, the fact that I can remotely turn devices on and off makes it worth the cost.I am definitely looking into getting more down the road!

These plugs connected instantly via the Geeni app and pair nicely with Alexa and Google Assistant. Theyâve worked reliably for everyday lamps and chargers. Just rememberâthey only run on 2.4â¯GHz WiâFi, and performance depends on good signal strength.

Works with Alexa voice, but limited with the app
These plugs are brilliant, were very easy to set up and schedule with the Geeni app. However, I wanted to control with the Alexa app, but it would not allow me to set up a routine with 4 demands. I found videos but one for Android not ios, so the app was very different. I love the voice commands, but I purchased to set up a routine, and I am not sure this will work. Time will tell.

Good plug. Bad Capacitors. Supply Chain Issue? IDK.
These work as they should until they donât. Maybe it was a supply chain issue during the COVID years but the capacitors will start leaking. Iâve had two fail. One right around a year, then the other around two years. Reminds of how all those motherboard capacitors started leaking back in the mid 2000s. Same thing. Otherwise, these plugs are simple to setup and works as they should with the app and Alexa. For the price and ease of use Iâm not too worried about having to purchase them again. Itâs just a shame that I reached out to Geeni and their support is terrible when I tried to get them to ship me a new one a year ago. Planned obsolescence. My review isnât even on their website anymore. So they pick and choose.

I have six of these, and they all work flawlessly. Setting up and using them is a breeze. The app automatically detects them as long as Bluetooth is on. They work perfectly with Google Assistant. I like how you can name each device (plug) anything you want, and then use that name when speaking to Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.I use them mainly on lamps, which would be cumbersome to turn on manually. You can also schedule them to turn on and off at specific times – great for use in lamps when you’re away. They’re well designed, with an attractive round shape and a built-in override power button. 5 stars+!

Estoy mas que satisfecho con la calidad del producto, me fue muy facil activarlo y funciona perfectamente para enceder mi ventilador y una lampara. Es realmente pequeño y no ocupa mucho espacio en el contacto de la pared. lo recomiendo mucho!
