Review Update – Final
I’ve had the hose for a month and a half. The temperatures here in NW Oregon haven’t been below freezing since, but we’re expecting mid 20’s for the next week. This is the first time I’ve plugged it in, and will update this review and share my experiences.I primarily bought this hose to be, well, a hose. We are fairly temperate here and the most important quality to me is the hose delivering water without leaking or tasting bad. I can say that it has done that very well.But I’m giving it 4 stars right now. The quality seems good, but i received this hose with 2 female ends and a male coupler to attach it to my trailer. In my experience the female end of the hose is the first to fail. I’ve gone through over a half dozen hoses in about 2 years with the same problem.I believe part of the problem is that my trailers have had a horizontal attachment for the city water. Hooking a hose in that position, with its weight, creates stress on the joint. That leads to failure. I’ve attached a 90 degree elbow so the hose connects on the vertical plane, reducing stress on the joint.By doing this I’ve added additional connection points that can fail, which is why I am disappointed that this hose added another point of failure. Hence the 4 stars.Other than that, the build quality seems good. I did have a leak at the trailer side, but after cranking the adapters down by hand it went away. It appears that the line is leak free right now. The water tastes fine.Tonight we’re supposed to get down to 26 degrees. I’ve had the hose plugged in for a couple hours to monitor, as this is my first time plugging it in over night. It turned on instantly when I plugged it in. I could see the wheel on my electric meter surge a bit. After 10 minutes I could feel the entire hose heat up along the heat strip. I’ve got the ~4″ at the end wrapped around the 90 elbow on the trailer side. After 2 hours I went out and felt the heat strip on the hose. It’s warm, almost hot, but not quite, and seems to be working correctly. My concerns are the built in thermostat and surge breaker working properly. I would really like to avoid a fire! Updates to come.This is my final update. I’ve upped the rating to 5 stars. I’m very impressed with this hose. We’ve had several nights below freezing and this hose has kept itself flowing the whole time. No problems with heating and I’ve seen no leaks. I recommend this product, especially if you live in a travel trailer.

My pro series pressure washer wonât retract, the hose has several leaks and the gun itself has several pinholes that spray water. They havenât retuned my calls or emails. I do not recommend any of their products. Also, I purchased 6 of their retractable extension cords. Two of the six cords have stopped working. I also purchased two of the retractable hoses and they are great! I love them but with the poor customer service and the fact that the higher end products they make donât last long, I will never recommend them to anyone

Not bad with pretty good power. Kinda loud though. Will vibrate the wall you mount it too. Recoiling the hose works but not well. Pulling straight out is the only option. Do not pull out at any angle.

ðððSo this is the 2nd heated water hose we’ve had in the past few months. The first 1 one was different brand of heated water hose but it caught on fire & jus luckily I was home to catch it. Thank God! But this brand has been great so far & we’ve had it for about a month. See, we use our water hose quite a bit even in dead of winter so this was a great idea for us. Jus too bad they don’t have decently priced (I. M. O anyways) heated spray nozzles as well. And that would make this beyond perfect cuz we’ve been thru like 6 spray nozzles where they freeze & mess up but the water hose is perfect so far even with the freezing of the spray nozzles. So it’s definitely held up so far, very convenient to have, no fires, & keeps the hose warm to the touch but not hot. I luv it & highly recommend â¤ï¸ â¤ï¸ ð ð ð

Other than the tip storage on the wand (put it on the unit) that gets knocked off when un-holstering the sprayer. It is a very convenient general duty pressure washer even my wife can handle it. I would go 5 star but want to try it awhile and see if it holds up.I wanted to provide an update on the unit. Initially, there was a minor leak when I first connected it, but it didn’t seem significant at the time. However, after a few uses, the leak worsened considerably.Upon inspecting the unit, I discovered a crack had developed around the pump housing. I contacted the seller with pictures and explained the situation, inquiring about the possibility of replacing just the pump housing. I appreciate their prompt response that while pump housings weren’t currently available, they would send a replacement unit. The replacement arrived within a few days. I have not yet installed the new unit but believe it will work correctly; I feel the issue with the other unit was a fluke.Thank you for your quick response and assistance. changing to 5 star
