Decent results with solid build quality and responsive touch screen
Touch screen is very responsive. The product is well built. While you could not really see the number plates clearly, it is a solid choice for the price range. Super capacitor is great for the hot summer, eliminating the high failing rate of battery power. Easy connection to mobile devices via WIFI and intuitive app interface. GKU has its own app “GKU GO”, which is a big plus.

Really nice dashcam, especially for the cost
I finally got this installed in my truck, and have some day and nighttime recording done. Overall, I am very satisfied with it. Many have said the installation is simple, and with the included lighter adapter, it probably is. I ordered the hardwire kit, and I really didnât feel like doing the install myself. I would recommend getting the hardwire kit, which enables additional features.It comes with a 64GB card, but supports up to 512GB card. I did get one, because I like to have a lot of recording on road trips. Sometimes itâs nice to download a video of some of the scenic routes on your trip, and with the 512GB card, I donât have to worry about downloading the images each evening. I did this several years ago on a trip to the Black Hills, Yellowstone, Glacier National and other places.My last dashcam recorded one-minute segments. Thatâs not long enough if youâre wanting to save parts of your drive, like I mentioned in the previous paragraph. My first dashcam recorded three-minute segments, which, to me, is probably the best. With the D700, you have three options to choose from: one, three, and five-minute segments.This dashcam has many nice features, which you can find in the description, so Iâll not get into them here. Iâll just say, they are nice features to have on your dashcam. This records some very nice, detailed images. Of course, the main reason most people (including myself) have a dashcam is to provide evidence in the event of an incident, whether an accident, a bump and run, or whatever, and those images are there.The one thing I donât like is that when you look at images from the rear camera, it appears reversed. It looks like you are driving in a country where you drive on the left, instead of the right, as we do here in the US. Itâs still going to provide some detailed images, but itâs just weird. I donât know if there is a way to reverse that, and I will check, but again, thatâs my only beef with this cam. I was going to drop the rating to four stars because of that, but since I really like this cam, Iâll leave it at five.Oh yes, itâs got built-in Wi-Fi, so you can download the images straight to your phone with the app, and features built-in GPS, so you can record location, route, and speed.Overall, this is a good, inexpensive dashcam, and I donât think youâll go wrong with it.

Great upgrade
Finally defeated the historical heat wave and had this camera installed to my SUV to replace my nine years old 1080P front-only dashcam. And was impressed how technology has advanced in the last few years.The installation process is straightforward. Instead of using a suction cup (which had been my headache in the past few years as the camera kept falling after the suction cup got old), this set of cameras came with pre-installed double sided tapes. So I just need to aim at the right spot of my windshield and give it a little push, and snap, it is on, and not going anywhere. Most of my time was used to tuck the two cables into the fabric seams of my car’s roof, and the plastic wedge that came in the package has been tremendously helpful. My biggest challenge was with my SUV’s back trunk door as it opens upwards. Eventually, I had to accept the fact that I had to leave a small loop of cable dangling in the air for the door to open and close.The camera’s software interface is straightforward. Most settings and customizations can be easily done intuitively without having to read the user manual. During my limited time with it, I wasn’t sure how to turn off the popup notification containing a 2D barcode and the wifi information. But that hasn’t been too annoying so far.The camera allows different views – front only, back only, front + small back PIP window, etc. I actually wanted to be able to view back primarily, with the small front PIP window, and I’m yet to figure out how to make it happen. Also it would be great if we could have side by side view. For now I tuned it to show the back camera view only (see picture).The camera’s image quality is super crisp. The front camera’s 2K resolution is much better than my previous 1080P one. However, out of the box, the color seemed a bit bleeched. I’m yet to learn if I could tune the color saturation, and to figure out if HDR is an option or not.Overall, my first impression was really good. Just need a bit more time to make the best out of it.

Un pequeño consejo: las pegatinas “electrostáticas” incluidas no son electrostáticas; el pegamento es difÃcil de quitar, ya que puse una mal y tuve que quitarla.- Tiene supercondensador, asà que incluso si la dejas al sol y se calienta mucho, estará bien.- El GPS y otras opciones funcionan correctamente.- Arranca bastante rápido, entre 4 y 7 segundos. El GPS necesita unos segundos más para ser preciso.- Graba sin problemas, incluso con la tarjeta SD incluida.- La calidad de la pantalla es muy buena, a pesar de su pequeño tamaño.cosas malas:- La pantalla táctil no es la mejor y la interfaz de usuario es un poco lenta.- La conexión WiFi no es perfecta. Si tienes un coche con Android Auto que usa wifi para conectarse a tu teléfono, te costará mantener la conexión con la cámara del salpicadero. I recently purchased the GKU D700 dash cam, and Iâm really happy with my purchase! The installation process was straightforward and setting up the various settings was quite simple. The companion app for the dash cam is user-friendly, making it easy to browse through videos and adjust settings as needed.The video quality from the front camera is exceptionalâclear enough to easily read number plates and see the surroundings of the vehicle. The rear camera is also solid, providing a good view of what’s happening behind the car.I did encounter an issue with the rear camera, but GKUâs customer service was outstanding. Ella from the support team helped me troubleshoot the problem and promptly sent me a replacement when the issue couldn’t be resolved. Her assistance made a significant difference in my experience of their product.Overall, the GKU D700 dash cam is a great product. It’s easy to install, the app is great, and the video quality is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable dash cam.

Je n’ai pas réussit de la faire fonctionner dans ma voiture.Un branchement de type allume-cigare est livré. Or, je n’ai pas de prise allume-cigare dans ma voiture.Du coup, j’ai commandé un câble de branchement sur le boitier à fusibles.Mais, malgré l’aide de Service Client, l’appareil n’a jamais démarré.Il faut trouver vraiment une solution simple pour brancher sans effort!Malgré tout, j’ai pu quand même constater quelques qualités et défauts :Les + :+ Service client réactif+ Qualité de fabrication+ Qualité relative de l’image (branchement secteur). Même si j’ai des doutes sur 4k !+ Wifi 5GLes – :- Signal vocal trop puissant et trop bavard et complétement inutile (désactivable / anglais avec un fort accent chinois)- L’encombrement de l’appareil (en fonction de la taille de pare brise de voiture).- L’épaisseur des câbles. Dans ma voiture, je n’ai pas assez de jeu pour enfoncer les câbles trop épais.- D’ailleurs le câble trop court et mal conçu. Le boitier transformateur se trouve au milieu !- Les têtes à fusibles du câble sont trop fragiles et pas adaptées.En résumé, cette caméra n’est pas adapté aux voitures les plus récentes.

Installation:Ich habe die Kameras in unserem Kombi verbaut welches ziemlich gut ging Dank des mitgelieferten Montagehebels.Ich gebe zu das dies nicht meine erste Kamera ist die ich verbaut habe und das ich genau weià wo ich am besten die Kabel in meinem Auto entgangen kann.Montage dauerte ca. 30min. Zum Beispiel die Zeitraffer-Aufnahmemodus den wir bestimmt im nächsten Urlaub testen werden.Auch Parkraum Ãberwachung ist vorhanden wobei ich mir noch nicht sicher bin ob sie mit dem mitgelieferten Kabeln funktioniert oder ob ich ein separates Modul brauche.(Deshalb kann ich den letzten Stern noch nicht geben)Anbieter sendet mir nach Anfrage ein Kabelsalat mit der für Parkraumüberwachung und Fahrmodus gedacht ist.Das GPS funktioniert gut und somit kann ich immer sehen wo ich genau unterwegs bin.Die Ãbertragung der Aufnahmen auf mein Telefon geht zügig und ich kann vor dem runterladen die Aufnahmen bearbeiten.(kürzen)Aufnahmedauer pro klipp: 3min max .dann neue Aufnahme.Fazit:Schöne Dashcam die auch etwas mehr kann.Ich selber hab suf Grund der kurzen Zeit noch nicht alle Funktionen testen können.Aber ich bin bis jetzt überzeugt.Der Einbau ging schnell und unkompliziert. Dank des Werkzeugs.Alles drin was man braucht um gleich zu starten.Klebepatts halten gut werden auch nich weich bei über 30 Grad AuÃentemperatur.Preis Leistung finde ich Sehr gut.
