    Finally—room-by-room comfort that actually works
First ImpressionsI picked up the Nest Temperature Sensors to pair with my Nest Learning Thermostat, and they’ve been a game-changer. No more guessing if the thermostat in the hallway is really keeping the bedroom or living room comfortable. These sensors just work.PerformanceAccurate readings: Each sensor keeps track of room temperature reliably—no weird swings, no lag.Scheduling: I can tell my Nest to prioritize the bedroom at night and the living room during the day. It actually feels like the system is paying attention to how I live.Seamless integration: They connected right away through the Nest app, and syncing with the thermostat was painless.DesignThe porcelain finish is clean and minimal. They’re small, subtle, and don’t look like clunky tech sitting around.ProsEasy setup and integration.Accurate room temperature tracking.Scheduling makes it easy to prioritize comfort where I need it.Sleek, subtle design.ConsRuns on batteries, so eventually I’ll have to swap them (not a dealbreaker).Bottom LineThe Nest Temperature Sensors do exactly what they’re supposed to: make the whole system smarter, more comfortable, and more tailored to daily life.

Remote sensor that allows Thermostat control from a different location
Works exactly as described and incredibly easy to link to your Nest Thermostat. I have two 3rd generation Nest Thermostats in the hallway. I connected (by software) a remote sensor to each Thermostat and leave the sensor in a different location. That way I can have the temperature controlled from a different source. You can switch the temp to monitor directly on the app. Price was reasonable. Can’t say much about durability yet. Has worked flawlessly since install several weeks ago.

Game-Changing Google Nest Temperature Sensor – Perfect for Uneven Home Temperatures!
I had no idea the Google Nest Temperature Sensor even existed, and when I first learned about it, I was honestly skeptical. However, I decided to give it a try because our master bedroom consistently gets about 9°F warmer than our downstairs, creating an uncomfortable sleeping environment. Let me tell you, this little device has been an absolute game-changer!The sensor was incredibly easy to set up – it paired seamlessly with our Google Nest Thermostat through the Google Home app in just a few minutes. The quality feels solid, with a sleek, unobtrusive design that blends into our bedroom decor. Placing it in our master bedroom allowed us to prioritize that room’s temperature, and now our thermostat adjusts based on the sensor’s readings rather than the downstairs temperature. This has made our bedroom so much more comfortable, especially at night, and has significantly improved our sleep quality. What I love most is the flexibility. You can schedule the sensor to focus on specific rooms at different times, which is perfect for homes with uneven temperatures or for monitoring spaces like a child’s or baby’s room to ensure they’re at the ideal temperature. The shipping was fast, and the packaging was secure, ensuring the sensor arrived in perfect condition. For anyone dealing with temperature inconsistencies in their home or wanting precise control over specific rooms, I can’t recommend the Google Nest Temperature Sensor enough. It’s been such a fantastic addition to our smart home setup, and we’re thrilled with the results. 5 stars all the way

    Just what the doctor ordered.
This little button is working well, just what I needed. The installation was super easy and it connected on the first try. I live in a Cape Cod house and the upstairs is warmer than the downstairs, and this unit helps me quantify just how much.

    Excellent for townhome
This works great. My thermostat is on the 2nd floor and I live in GA. It is so hot and the air downstairs wouldn’t cool. I put one of these sensors in my living room (townhome) and now my downstairs is nice and cool.

Easy to install and worked great with my nest. I can monitor the temp on all floors now. Only had it for 3 months so I am curious on the battery life and how I replace them.

Was a bit concerned as to whether this was compatible with our 7 year old Nest, but works well. Easy to set up in the Nest App. Have it in our family room which is cooler in the evening so when we are in it, I have it scheduled to automatically use sensor in Family Room and rest of time use the thermostat. Can also over ride during anytime. Excellent addition for anyone who needs different temps in parts of the house

If you have a Google nest thermostat that is compatible with these sensors and can justify the average of $50 per cents cost then these might actually be something that can improve your heating and cooling needs in your house, granted you follow the instructions and use them as their intended to be used. The trick with these sensors is to see which room or rooms have a much different temperature than the rest of them and then you open and close your vent registers as needed to average it out.For example, if your bedroom is 5° more than your living room, close your bedroom register and keep your living room register open. This will force more air to the room that is needed.Caution note, however: try different variations and monitor overtime to be on the safe side as if you have a lot of events closed and one open it may get too hot in one room or another. It takes some back-and-forth and different trial and error periods. After fiddling with it for quite some time, you should see a little bit of a difference or a lot, depending on the difference in temperature and the type of vents that are installed in your house. They’re easy to pair to the Google home app, which is also set up to my Alexa app, but it only lets me control the main thermostat through Alexa not the individual sensors.Overall worked well for us so we can regulator house, but it’s very expensive, especially if you have several

It connects to the thermostat and I’m able to check the temperature room by room. If we need it changed to a different temperature, the main thermometer will tell the furnace to turn on.

I added the Nest Temperature Sensor (2nd Gen) to my living room to help with some temperature imbalance. Setup was simple through the Google Home app. It helps the thermostat prioritize that space, especially during the day. The difference isn’t huge, but it’s noticeable. Battery life seems good. Overall, it’s a decent upgrade if you’re already using a Nest system.
