Functional portable workbench
I’ve been wanting a workbench for a while for various projects. I only have occasional use for it, so my criteria were that I didn’t want to invest a lot and I needed to be able to store it when not needed. This workbench is lightweight and portable. I’m able to fold it down by closing the legs and tilting the top. It will self-support when folded and doesn’t take up a lot of space. When set up it feels stable and strong and it has a lot of adjustments that make it useful for different purposes. I can use it to clamp and hold wood, eliminating the need for multiple saw horses and separate clamps. I also use it as a stand for my table saw.The height of the table is adjusted via foot pedal and secures into place with hand tightened knobs. The table top can widened easily, one side has paddle-style release and the other side offers fine tuning with rotary handles. I have good control over the spread of the top and that lets me use either the gap or the sliding clamps to secure my work. I find this setup much more simple to manage than my former saw horse setup since I don’t need additional tools. The top has built in measurements and a protractor to help with alignment. One feature I haven’t used yet but is available if I need is being able to change the angle of the table top.I find this table portable and easy to use. It has a lot of flexibility to adapt to lots of different projects. It feels strong and I find it practical. It was a good investment and reasonable priced for all that it is able to do.

It’s clumsy
It’s difficult to say. It may work for some but the places to clamp are odd because either the mechanics get in the way or the bottom cross bar impedes the clamp or work. It looks great but to me the best way to describe my experience is that it is clumsy. The kick release sway bar is questionable as the spring is not strong enough to retract into the slot on its own but the thought of adjusting the height is great. The joints have a bit of slop and its heavy in my opinion. My vise on this one did not work so they asked me to send a video of the problem but Amazon’s messenger does not allow mp4 so I figured to post a review. At the same time, it’s just may not work for what I want to do. It’s just too clumsy.
