Awesome light
This is the light that started my govee addiction. This light is amazing and has so many fun modes. Was very easy to setup and the app isn’t overwhelming complicated but has good options for power users. It looks great in my room. Had calming scene that really help on the wind down for bed. The light is durable and gives off plenty of brightness for a small room.

Incredible lamp
Beautiful colors created by this light can be what ever you want them to be. I have two lamps, one on each side of my bedroom and the govee tv backlight 3 and they all work together be it during a movie or music or have fun with my grandchildren. Love the ease of use of the app. It was easy to set up. You can hear in the video I have it working with a specific name and via Alexa. It also work along side my alarms in the morning to slowly turn on the light on my side of the bed for me. It can go low enough to be a nightlight or bright enough to light up an entire room. I got mine when they were on sale but would buy again if anything should happen to these. They are built well so I expect them to last for years. Govee products have always done well for me in the past and I plan to continue to buy them it the future. If you want more than a boring lamp then get you one of these. Some of the colors that I was like why do they have that I now find to be a fun background to my video games or play time with family. The were worth the money. Buy yours, you will love them.

Govee did it again! Buy this lamp! You won’t regret it!
I own a few things by Govee I love and this lamp is my new favorite. It’s unique and like all Govee products you have seemingly endless color customization options within the app. This product does have a little less pre set scenes to chose from compared to a strip of lights say, but thats simply because it isnt a strip of lights and cant display all the same scenes in the same way. It has its own different but good ones. You can draw your own picture to display across the lamp. You can use it as a regular lamp and fully adjust brightness and how warm or cool your want your light. Its easy to set up and connect, sturdy and high quality looking and feeling. Now I want another one in my house! If you already love Govee products, what are you waiting for?! If this will be your first thing from Govee, I say GOvee for it and be prepared to not stop there. Did I mention I ended up getting their Christmas tree lights this yr too? LOL ð highly recommend this product and all their products!

Incredible lamp and amazing customer service!
I ordered this lamp as a Christmas gift for a family member to help them update their lighting in a fun way. The lamp arrived fast and I wrapped it up for Christmas. Upon opening the lamp on Christmas and setting it up, the on/off/pairing button was unresponsive and we were unable to get the lamp to pair, although itâs default rainbow pattern is quite glorious. I figured no big deal, I have heard Govee has great customer service. I get home, log into the app and submit a claim on the end of Christmas Day, expecting to hear back in a few days as itâs the holidays. Within 30 min I heard back and after doing a little troubleshooting back and forth, Govee sent me a new lamp. I was amazed and shocked by their incredibly responsive and helpful customer service. Upon recieveing the new lamp and testing its operation I was blown away by it and immediately ordered a 2nd one for myself. The lamp is very nice and bright (1500 lumens) as just a normal lamp, but where Govee really shines in my opinion is the Scene modes! This lamp is like a modern lava lamp and the colors are so vibrant itâs mind blowing at first, especially if itâs your first lamp like this. Music mode is also super fun and is very responsive. It pairs with Alexa easily and integrated into my âsmart homeâ nicely. If you are into creating a vibe over just turning on a lamp, this is definitely for you ðð»

Build quality could be better!
Iâve been a fan of Govee products ever since they started to deliver quality tech at a fraction of the cost of Philips hue which was the only decently functional smart lighting & power solution at the time. However, I do think that a lot of what youâre paying for now is the ecosystem & tech theyâve built rather than the build quality of the product itself, especially in this case. I wish it was a little heavier given the cost but it is cool and works just fine. Lots of lighting/color options as expected and the LEDs are dense enough to not create hotspots. Assembly was a breeze and itâs a nice size such that it works as a standalone lamp or in a twin configuration next to a TV or on either sides of a bed. If you donât pay âfull priceâ, then Iâd say itâs good value since the tech is user-friendly.

Impressive and Practical Functionality
This floor lamp is simply amazing. The preset scenes are great for setting the night time gaming vibes as well as the daytime work from home mood. I was skeptical that this lamp would be bright enough to illuminate my office but I am thoroughly impressed at how effective it has been. This thing can get very bright, I have it set to 50% brightness and that is doing the job well enough!The app that is used to interact with the hardware has a solid user interface and easy to use once you know what’s what. Only gripe is that you have time make an account in order to setup. The wifi connectivity and the automation that you can program into the lamp is definitely a highlight for me. I’m going to buy another one of these soon for my bedroom to help me wake up in the morning and wind down at night with gradual lighting changes. Definitely worth the money.

Got this for my teenage daughter and she loves it for her room. Amazing amount of colour and pattern options and the app is super easy to use (iPhone). As a graphic artist she loves the ability to customise the patterns. Very well made and easy to assemble, hefty enough to stand solid on carpet. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to brighten up a room or have something more interesting to look at than a standard lamp.

There are two major things to know about this lamp. Firstly, it represents a sort of cultural phenomenon, in which users assign scenes – animations – on special, festive occasions. By its nature, it is not primarily a pure light source. In order to use the feature of scenes, in general, one should set it up with the Govee app, either for Android or iOS. And this is what one is paying extra for.The app features timers one can set. But I have not figured out yet, whether the phone needs to be in Bluetooth range in order for the timers to work, or whether the timers get downloaded into the base of the lamp.One must give it one’s WiFi password and set up an account, so there is obviously more to what one can do with it, than I have discovered so far…Secondly, it’s important to understand the logic of how the lamp is to be assembled, before actually assembling everything. In particular, the cylinder must plug into its base in a very specific way, before the two are screwed onto the top of the rod together. If one does not understand how that’s supposed to work, one might get the impression that there is something wrong with the attachment.Also, it’s important not to over-tighten these sorts of threads, just to be on the safe side.Finally, when it’s set to its daytime mode of white light, the amount of brightness it adds to the room is considerable, and resembles how much an incandescent 100W light-bulb from the old days might have added. It has a brightness adjustment slider in the app. But, when it’s in party mode and plays scenes, those are less bright, because they only use a fraction of the available LEDs in the cylinder. Further, when playing scenes, the LEDs which do light up are not at 100% intensity.-Dirk

Pretty nice light for my daughters room.Mine didn’t come with a remote.But there is a nice app.When you assemble it, make sure the plug inside the lamp assembly in the bulb cylinder is pushed in tight or the Bluetooth components will power on and it will pair. But the light cylinder wont respond.My wife said she plugged the cannon plug in lol.It kind of reminds me of a weird lava lamp in a way.Very cool though. Its not a Phillips light, but it is very very solid made and heavy.I would definitely recommend picking one up.
