Most powerful vibrant Govees Iâve owned
Keep in mind a lot of my products are older but i decided to try things out and get a brand new product from them. not disappointed in the slightest, installation is as easy as itâs ever been, the brightest LEDs Iâve probably ever owned while also being incredibly vibrant. If you new to govee there customization and app support is the best out of every brand there is out there. Theyâre like the Samsung of the LED world. Compatible with everything not to mention Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatible in case something goes wrong with either of those. these paired with a tv backlight is second to none when it comes to complete immersion when it comes to watching movies or playing games. These lights are stellar in every single way including the design and build quality. Not to mention the packaging was incredibly nice as well something unheard of when it comes to house lights. foam protection and all and a pleasant unboxing experience that gets you excited. For the money it is a little pricey. If youâre looking about getting two of these it should be MORE then enough to light your whole wall up despite the size. the cord length is also incredibly long making it easy to mount anywhere and they even came with clips to help manage your cable. overall an incredibly thought out product that fills it every need and is incredibly functional.

Nice vibe change
I have a jillion Govee lights and decided to get this one in my office in place of wall art to give it a vibe. Once I figured out that I could change the settings to slow down the movement, I was happier. I would like it to be more customizable for brightness, meaning I would like to brighten it up more, but outside of that, it is a really nice touch. My only challenge is I have a side view, and that it’s not as good as the front-on view in my office.

Great wall lights with lots of customization
I really like this Govee wall sconce! I bought two, and am really impressed with with how nice they light the room and the custom colors and scenes you can select from the app.I’ve paired this with my Amazon Echo and can easily control the status (ON or OFF) and the brightness level with my voice. In the early morning, I can say “Alexa, lights on”, and “Alexa, set lights 10%” (brightness level). Super convenient.

These are very dull and not bright
First off, it took FOREVER to get it set up. They tell you to “Scan the Matter QR Code” and I had no idea what that was, I searched all the documentation and scanned all the codes that were randomly placed on the box or in the manuals or on the backs of things, NOTHING worked. The code is a TINY smaller than a dime-sized sticker attached to the buttons. So starting off this really erked me and put me in a bad mood. They should come with a card or print the code in the manual and say what it is, the manual is garbage and doesn’t even reference this code as being required for setup but I was unable to add it to their app, my phone, Alexa, or Google Home without it. Finally finding it was pure ecstasy.Second, I thought these could help me since I do not have overhead lighting in my home, I thought I could put them fairly high on the wall and perhaps get a similar effect with the benefit of being able to change the light colors when I don’t need to specifically see things. I was wrong, they are very dull. If you’ve ever had an RGB keyboard, it is a lot more like that. Very dim and not bright even when you change the light to pure white and brightness to 100%. Had I known they would not light anything up I would not have bought this.Many people are probably buying these for the cool colors and not to replace lamps and overhead lights so I’ll concede that my use case may not be the intended one for this product. For the use of “cool” lighting however this product is wonderful. The default chasing rainbow colors are beautiful and I really like watching that go. There are thousands of color schemes in the Govee app to choose from and the thought of having the light sync with audio and change color based on your TV is something a nerd like me can only dream of (you need additional equipment to get that to happen). You could spend weeks playing with their app and setting things up the way you want.This integrates with Alexa, once I was able to finally get it setup which is really cool and seamless (I already had a Govee TV backlight in this room).Overall, this is a great product, I just wish it could serve to be an actual wall light and not just accent lighting. The pictures are misleading in that they are probably taken in a pitch black room or photoshopped to look way brighter than they are.

Minimalistic done well.
I buy a lot of Govee products, but this one may be my favorite in terms of sleekness. It takes up minimal space, looks futuristic without being over the top, and it’s much brighter than I expected. A bit pricey, but worth it if you’re looking for a minimalist lighting setup.
