Smaller than the old one
I bought his to replace my 6 or 7 year old set from Costco for which I paid $100. At that time, GW only had about a dozen or so different products. I’ve been using their chainsaws and lawn mower (corded) for years. Durable and good quality. It still works even if bits get stuck in the chuck all the time, but I used my friends compact makita set and thought it was amazing how small it was. I saw that GW had a new version and for the price, had to try it.One thing to note is that the older brushed model has generally more power. They just drive faster when using side by side.I do like the slow startup on the impact, makes it a little easier to control, but the max speed is slower. I guess that means lower wear on the motor and better battery life which was always and still is amazing even on my 6 year old batteries.The charger pretty much stinks compared to the docking style but luckily these fit into the old dock just fine. It is more compact though and probably cheaper so, it’s hard to complain too much about it. I like to hang the dock on the wall, whereas the new style is more of a clip, not meant to keep out all the time.The old battery I also think is superior due to the rubberized outside, where the new one is just smoother and feels cheap. I’ve worked on roofs and think that it has helped but we’ll see if it’s a problem on the new one or not.Overall still the great amazing value GW has always been and I will continue to use their products because they keep being dependable.

Good set. Works fine, 2.0Ah batteries are ok, inside are chinesse Lishen 18650 cells 2.0Ah, the same cells are in 2022 ryobi 40V batteries. What I don’t like is the charger it’s slow and not so nice to use it. And I received my set without both belt clips, that’s why ony 4 stars from me.

Incredible value and power in an easy to use design
This set screams value. Yes, you certainly can spend 2 to 2 and 1/2 times as much and increase power and battery life a little. BUT, this set is light, beautifully balanced, almost cheap in price and does everything I have asked of it. It came with two batteries; no down time and I have yet to use one to “exhausted”. The drill, on the supplied battery, mounted 4 external security cameras through drywall, 2×4 and 2×6 and a brick exterior. In addition, 4 internal cameras, 3 motion detectors, three smoke alarms, two CO2 alarms and was still drilling strong. The hex impact driver does a ton of stuff on car work with lighter torque values. (not lug nuts,, let’s be real). What a set…

è il prezzo pagato avere due utensili di questo tipo con due batterie caricabatterie e borsetta (quest’ultima a dire la verità è molto scadente…ma almeno c’è…) entrambi con motore brushler credo sia un buon affare…Riguardo la qualità mi sembra mediamente buona ed i motori abbastanza potenti per la tipologia di utensili (non sono i primi utensili che compro di questo tipo…)!L’azienda mi sembra anche abbastanza seria e ricca di tanti altri attrezzi che usano le stesse batterie… Non a caso se col passare del tempo confermerò la qualità descritta acquisterò altri attrezzi della stessa serie…Concludo col fatto che avere tre anni di garanzia anche sulle batterie mi fa dormire diciamo sogni tranquilli quindi al momento do il massimo dei voti… se usandoli noterò qualche magagna modificherò il mio punteggio ððð¼
