    Quet, hard working little mower
We use this at our farm. Most mowing is with a riding mower, but this one does trim work and tight spaces. It’s a workhorse. Quiet, easy to use, rarely has any problems (clogs when we try to cut the 8″ high grass, but it’s the exit clogging from too much grass – the mower is happy to try.) And the batteries are interchangeable with five other tools at our farm.

    Better than my Gas mower!
Was worried about power, suction and battery life. Live in Southern California. Had other garden tools using the same battery, so bought open box for 180 bucks. Came perfect. Was very impressed. Assembly easy. Started up without a problem. Like others said, quiet, does the job. Used level 3 for hight and it picks up leafs, grass and stuff. I was worried but should have not been. For a 20 minutes job, uses 1/2 the battery, which surprised me in a positive way. Mow once a week. All good. 5 stars. Go for it.

    Great first electric LM!
I bought the 19″ steel deck mower (2501302). It’s really quiet, compared to gas. Sounds like a box fan. Quiet enough for me to listen to music while I cut without making my ears bleed. The motor is strong enough to power thru tough weeds. It is slightly annoying the way it automatically adjusts to the load so that it conserves power without sacrificing much in terms of cutting performance. I get it, although I wish the automatic setting also came with the option to control throttle manually. It’s only a small complaint because though I feel like I need to pace myself more to compensate for the mower’s own automatic speed adjustments, I haven’t noticed much sloppy cuting. A slow and steady pace may work best at all times. The power consumption is pretty high, I think. I use non OEM 6,000mAh (supposedly) batteries, and it has burned thru one of those in less than an hour. Comparatively, using the same batteries with the 20″ hedge trimmers that come in the PSPH40B00 bundle, I can cut continuously for 45mins and use a little more than a quarter of the battery. I’ve also used the same batteries to power my 13inch string trimmer (21332) for over 1.5hrs (almost non-stop) with a quarter or more of charge left. Apples and oranges, to be sure, but it’s certainly notable that it does consume a considerable amount of energy. Those batteries I have take about 1.5hrs each to charge in my C-400 quick chargers, so if you need to cut for extended periods of time, just have enough batteries to rotate through a continuous charge/discharge cycle.I love the simplicity! Looking at the exploded view, the only critical part is the actual motor itself. The rest is just body covers and fasteners. It’s great because it means very little maintenance. The only caveat is that if something does go critically wrong, there’s a high chance that you’ll need a new machine. At this pricepoint, though (got mine for $170), buying a new one would be cheaper than most conventional gas lawnmowers of the same class. The bag is a little smaller than I’m used to, but I feel like it’s a little longer. It is easier for me to dump the clippings from the discharge bag into another bag because the mouth of the discharge bag is small enough to fit into another bag. It probably holds about 1/4 less than the bag for my 21″ gas mower does.Lastly, it’s a bit heavier than I expected. It’s still quite a bit lighter than my gas mowers, though. It’s certainly not recommended to use on slopes greater than 15°, but it’s pretty versatile in nonconventional applications because it can still work well when (CAREFULLY) operated at an angle, unlike gasoline mowers. In my opinion, you can’t beat it, for the price! Just be sure to make it part of a set so you can get the most for your money. I’m just getting around to using it, so I plan to update this review if the need arises.

Excellent mower, pleasantly surprising on all fronts.
I really love this mower. It’s super light, quiet as you WOULND’T BELIEVE (quieter than a weed whacker), and the battery lasts surprisingly long under normal conditions. The 4 mAH battery lasts me at least 1 hour 20 minutes when the mower doesn’t have to go into high power mode much, i.e. the grass isn’t wet or too long. If the grass is a little wet, it does struggle more, and the worst was when I had to cut grass that was a little too long and pretty wet. It would get bogged down and came to a stop a couple of times. It has a sensor that sends it into high power mode when it gets bogged down, but if you have a jungle it doesn’t necessarily do this quickly enough.Other than that potential concern, this is a wonderful mower. And honestly, these issues exist with comparable gas mowers just as much too. There are times I’m convinced this mower is more powerful than my 4.5 HP gas mower was, but I really don’t know if it objectively is. But all in all, very pleasantly surprised, and happy that I don’t smell like gasoline after mowing the lawn and perhaps am contributing (albeit in a negatable fashion) to less carbon footprint.

    Lasted for 5 minutes
Got this yesterday, I used it today with a fully charged GMax 40V 4.0AH battery which came with the Greenworks String trimmer. It started just fine and worked for 5 minutes then I released the lever to stop it and moved it to another area of grass and now it just doesn’t start. Removed the battery cleaned the entire area near the blades, tried to recharge the battery (which was still at ~75% based on the indicator on the battery) but to no effect. The battery works fine with the greenworks string trimmer and blower/vac so battery is not the issue and neither are there any blades of grass near the blades.Just 5 minutes of use and it stopped working now I have serious concerns about the quality of this product. Maybe I should have gone with the Honda gas powered lawn mowers.(Tried calling customer support but they dont work on Sundays, will update this review based on what they say).Thinking of returning this item.
