Good product, excellent service
This is a good grill at a good price. I especially like the warming rack and the bucket that catch the ashes. Easy assembly instructions but it took me hours to do myself (I’m a slow old lady). The little damper arm broke off where it had been welded or soldered. I emailed the manufacturer asking for a new part. They responded within an hour (on a Saturday) and said a new part was on the way. It was on my doorstep in a few days! No charges. Now THAT is customer service. Grill Boss is a trustworthy company.

Good charcoal grill
Works really well, sturdy once fully assembled. Large cooking area. Like the access to add charcoal through the door and ability to raise and lower charcoal pan to adjust heat. The assembly instructions are a pain, mainly images of how to put it together. Images are too small and it would be helpful to actually have words to describe each step.

Sturdy Economy
This is an excellent grill at a price lower than it’s obvious competition (Weber) It’s assembly is pretty easy though a helper is recommended for a couple steps and the parts fit and connect easily compared to the cheap stuff. It also performs very well and can stand up to long term smoking as well as grilling.

This grill has been absolutely fantastic! We’ve used it to grill more than half a dozen times in just the past couple of weeks. Before purchasing, I spent a lot of time researching and searching for a grill that met all of my must-havesâlarge cooking capacity but easy to move, dual side shelves, a multi-level charcoal tray, a separate ash pan, and generous storage underneath. This one checked every box!The only issue I’ve run into is with the warming rack. It attaches at four pointsâtwo inside the lid and two near the grates. Unfortunately, the lid connections donât secure the rack well, so it can fall while you’re cooking or cleaning. Thatâs exactly what happened to me while I was steam-cleaning the lower grates. The movement must have loosened it, and it collapsed onto my arm above my gloves, causing a burn. I was able to treat it quickly, but it looks like it will scar. I plan to add wing nuts to the outside of the lid to hold it more securely in place.Even with that design flaw, I still think this grill is a great purchase, and Iâd happily recommend it to others! Just be cautious of the warming rack.

Great Grill
The grill is great for the price point. Easy to use and the ash catcher does a great job. The only issue I would note is that there is substantial assembly required. Nothing crazy, but it does take effort.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This grill has cast iron grates and that was why I chose it. Once I got it home I knew I made the right choice. It’s visually appealing. This isn’t a flimsy grill. It has weight and the charcoal area has an easy access panel, allowing you to add charcoal or stoke the fire with a poker. Lots of air vents. I simply love it. HIGHLY recommendÂ

Waste of money!
Complete waste of money! Spent 2 hours putting it together, filled it with $10 worth of charcoal, lit the fire and all the paint melted off the front and back! Cannot cook food with paint chips and chemicals all over the grill. Requested a refund and they want me to go purchase a box from someone big enough to fit a grill and ship it back to them!
