My dad is an avid gun collector so I got this for him. He said that it definitely prevents moisture. It is affordable and does as expected… it’s compact and has a long enough cord to plug in as needed. It will take a few months but in Pennsylvania, we get alot of back n forth weather so this item is perfect for the purpose

I live in a very humid area and had been very worried about the guns rusting if not cleaned very often while being stored in my safe. There was many times it Cleary had condensation inside. Once I installed this I stopped seeing any. It fits in there well without taking up a bunch of space.it was well worth the purchase

So this concept doesnât bring the humidity down it allows the air to hold more moisture therefore keeping moisture off the guns so I use a desiccant/silica and so now it will take moisture off the guns and trap it in the silica
