I have long, thick, bra strap-length hair, and I love this product. It delivers as promised and is a great value for the price. I was able to straighten my hair with one pass. The design is easy to operate. I would defintely try more products from this brand.

This comb is easy to use and fast. Before this I had a straightening brush. It works ok, but is definitely more difficult to use than the Tymo comb. I have thick and wavy hair. I divided into 8 sections and brushed through each section twice. It is perfectly straight. It took maybe 4-5 minutes including warm-up time. Make sure you comb through well first. Finding a knot hurts.

If youâre debating whether to get it just get it. Naturally I have 4b hair but I use keratin or Brazilian blowout. My roots are always thick and frizzy. Iâve been paying to get my hair straightened at a Dominican salon but this is gonna save me so much money. I put my hair in rollers for slow drying then used this comb. I used a flat iron just for the ends of my hair for frizziness. It is an amazing tool!!! It straightens your roots well. I just had to be careful to not let it overheat on my hair so I gave my hair a few seconds before doing a second/third pass. Best tymo tool.

What?? This is so cheap and works so much better than any straightener I’ve owned. Here’s the big caveat… you have very little control over the ends of your hair.I’ve owned Solia, Chi, am currently using the white T3… my hair has never been easier to straighten or as straight on the top of my head. You don’t get the wavy crimp lines from a flat straightener because this thing basically combs into your hair and straightens from the root out an inch so there is no way to have a crimp line. I am blown away by how shiny my hair looks. And it was crazy easy. Took no effort. In fact, you almost have to use bigger sections with this tool than with a flat iron straightener.Okay so here’s the snag, and you can tell just by watching any video of someone using it. You need to hold pressure on your hair to hold it inside of the tool, so when you get to the ends and have to let go, there is no way to really control the ends. I was able to hold my hair until the last little bit slipped from my fingers and I managed to curl the ends under. The finished look is great. But if I wanted it to be stick straight all the way to the end, not curled under at all, that would be a little harder.Does this replace a flat iron? No. I often straighten just the ends of my hair after curling it, and I could not do that with this tool. However, this thing is waay faster and easier and makes my hair shinier and smoother than a flat iron.The heat up time is slow. At first just the top blue light was blinking and I thought that meant it was warming up. Nope. You need to hit the power button (again?). The blinking blue light apparently just shows you it’s plugged in. Once you hit the power button, the white lights will indicate the power/heat level and the top blinking white light will become solid once it’s done heating. It took maybe 30 sec – 1 min longer than my usual flat iron heat up time.Safety/fire prevention… so this thing would be harder to burn yourself on for sure. Also, the actual hot plates don’t touch your counter or anything other than your hair because the guards block them. The back of the tool is flat. It DOES get HOT, but touchably hot. It might melt plastic carpeting. But I have no concerns with setting the flat backside directly on my counter, which means I no longer have to balance a straighener on its case or a hot pad.I am just in shock… I didn’t expect this cheap thing to work so well. I literally just bought a dyson airwrap after years of wanting one and am not nearly as blown away with it.This would be a great gift for anyone into beauty or hair because it’s not a common device to own and works amazing and is relatively inexpensive.So glad I tried it.

I ordered this product to straighten my roots so the style would look even better. I loved it; it really met my expectations. The only problem is that if you hold it too close to your scalp, it heats up a bit. It says it doesn’t heat up, but that doesn’t affect it. It actually does its job 100%, which is to straighten your hair with just one stroke. I highly recommend it!
